Why didn't I know about clay mitts before!?
Wow am I a converted fan to clay mitts. After hours and hours of struggling with the clay bar, you know what I'm talking about, tiny pieces, accidentally dropping it, folding and folding and folding. Now its just slide on the mitt, wet down with spray, and smooth away the baked on debris. So much easier and quicker with 90% less frustration. You can feel the grit being picked up by the glove much easier than with a bar as your whole hand is doing the work and sensing the debris being picked up.I don't know how long each gloves with last, but even if it is only for a few jobs on a full car, it would be worth it.Definitely use a good clay bar spray with this, as the glove covers a large area. Also, it works about 80% as well as a small hand held clay bar. Especially around the hard to get to areas. The mitt is for more of a maintenance perspective and not necessarily for a full restoration type of job. It won't completely eliminate the need for a clay bar but will definitely help minimize the dependence on just the clay bar.Bottom line, for semi-regular clean up its an amazing item. Saves tons of time and frustration. Does a really good job for what it is. Just buy one, at a minimum you'll find plenty of use for it, even if it does not replace your clay bar.

Things to Know
Works well, no issues. I use it with clean car wash soap mix. stick the whole mitt in the wash bucket. Only problem is takes forever to dry. DO NOT let clay surface touch itself-it will stick. Do Not try and wring it out. I stick it on a broom handle to dry. Not sure how to store it, as it will stick to any surface. Overall happy with it. Instructions are useless. I can't really tell if it get's cleaned off in bucket, but I think so. Used twice, still happy

Poor Quality; Not Worth the Savings; Save Your Time, Buy the Nanoskin
This clay mitt is way lower quality than my old Nanoskin. Honestly, I didn't even try it as it looked like it would scratch my car. I returned it and bought a new Nanoskin.I pictured my well-worn Nanoskin (top) with the "new" AIVS clay mitt. As you can see, the AIVS clay mitt is smaller and the clay part doesn't cover the entire surface area that would be touching the car. Also, the clay is much thicker on the Nanoskin than on this one.Hands down, you're way better off paying 2.5 times for the nanoskin; you'll get a much better product and be less likely to scratch your car.

Worked perfectly
I wanted to "clay bar" my 2013 Honda Ridgeline before putting on a ceramic polish. The mitt was easy to use in a bucket of soapy water. It did a good job of pulling out the imbedded dirt.

Good, but not perfect....
I do like this product, but................................I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT use this on a black car, unless you plan to buff afterwards. I used this on my 3 yr old black Sierra. I does do a great job at removing contaminants. You can feel the drag as you 1st go over the paint. But it will "dull" your paint. As you know, paint isn't perfectly "smooth". It has its high and low spots. This will "dull" the high spots to a degree. So you'd need to use some swirl mark remover to buff them back out. Chemical Guys OG bar didn't do this.(Tried both with proper lube) I used this yesterday on my 17 yr old White Passat that I have never used anything on. It barely ever got washed, besides the rain. Did an amazing job!(only usingcar soap as a lube) I actually washed it a week previous and thought it was clean. This thing took off so much "stuff" I was nearly speechless. Paint is unbelievably smooth now. Are the "dull" spots probably there? I'm sure, but they'll be hard to see. I'd recommend this for light color cars with no additional work, dark cars if you want to add a few hours of buffing.

Worked Great
I used this on part of the car and used a traditional clay bar on the other - no difference in result but this was much easier and quicker than the old school clay bar. A great choice and tremendous value.

Meh
I was excited to finally get a clay mitt to wash my car with. The microfiber side is meh, and the clay side is sticky as hell. Don't rub too hard or it will leave black smudges on your paint. I doubt I'll bother with it anymore and just use a microfiber rag and get a real clay bar.

Wipe that roughness away!
A nice way to clay your vehicle, was delivered fast.

Not what I expected
Quality feels a bit cheap for what it is.

Terrible packaging.
The paper packaging that the mitt was in, was GLUED to the face of the mitt! You have no choice but to pull the mitt off this sheet, which causes some of the paper to stick to the mitt. Rubbing a clay mitt with some paper on it is a guaranteed way to scratch your paint lol..... Do not buy this product. It's cheap and packaged poorly. Invest in a better quality brand.

Does not work as a clay mitt.
If you need a wash mitt it works fine for that but not as a clay mitt. I tried several times and it would not remove embedded contaminants, I had to go back to the clay bar.
