I have NEVER been able to wear my nails "naked" or with just a coat of clear polish...until my friend recommended this polish to me. It is FANTASTIC. I have tried Seche Vite, OPI & Essie nail hardening/strengthening polishes before and shelled out large amounts of money thinking that those polishes were the best, and that you had to spend that much to get products that worked. I was so wrong! BUY THIS POLISH INSTEAD. You have to use it for a while to see the most benefits, but I could honestly see benefits from the first 2 coats I applied. Using this as a basecoat is awesome because it dries very quickly, and as someone who prides themselves on their at-home manicures, I could see a big difference with this polish, since the colors I painted on top of it came out super smooth, and this polish as a basecoat did a great job of making the natural ridges in the nails look smoother, so my nails came out more professional looking. Now I have been using this product as a basecoat for approximately 2 months consistently, and I have been changing my polish about twice weekly throughout that time. Now I can actually use this clear polish as THE ONLY POLISH and just walk out the door...that's how pretty my natural nails look now! My nails used to peel and flake from the bottom up, and if I ever hit them into anything they would bend backwards/rip very easily, which was painful. This morning I accidentally slammed my finger on a cabinet in the kitchen, and while that act itself hurt, MY NAIL WAS INTACT and DIDN'T BEND AT ALL! I am very impressed with this polish, and honestly probably will never find or buy another brand ever again. My only recommendation is to paint your nails away from your face, because if your eyes/nose gets too close to the polish bottle or your nails while the polish is wet it will burn your eyes/nose a bit (similar to how your eyes may burn when chopping onions).

I’ve had a problem with nail biting since I can remember. Every time I dedicated myself to not biting them they would just break because they were too weak and the biting cycle would start all over again until I started using this. I personally use this every other day, which is probably too much, but my nails are longer and stronger than ever! Possible CONS: When using this expect for your nail beds to be tender sometimes. When this happens to me I just paint the top part of my nail and leave the nail beds bare for a few days. You will probably get small dark spots on your nails but they will eventually go away, all of mine have but it honestly didn’t bother me. Also, by the time you get to the bottom of the bottle the polish becomes thicker than when it’s first opened. I’m not sure why that is but I still use it, it’s just a bit messy and stringy. PROS: Very fast drying, doesn’t take as long as regular polish so it’s very easy to squeeze into your morning or night routine. Works for weak toe nails too. I personally save money when getting my nails done at the salon since I don’t need nail extensions or anything to make my nails stronger because they are already long and strong. And the biggest pro is that is seriously works! It’s the only thing that has ever worked for me. SUGGESTIONS: Use a gentle liquid cuticle remover once a week. Keep your cuticles and nails super moist and hydrated during the day with oil, lotion and/or nail hardening cream (I use all three). While it’s in the awkward growing phase, I suggest going to the nail salon once a month just to get them shaped so they can grow more evenly and still look cute even though it’s still growing. Lastly, it never hurts to take hair/skin/nail vitamins.

Thank goodness! I got one of these from a friend about 15 years ago. It was great for my nails. Then a few years ago I decided to order from Amazon. My first order caused an intense burning in my nail beds. I decided it could have been a bad batch so I did a second order about a year later. It did the same, but the burning was not as intense. It still was hard on my nail beds. So I waited some months later and got a couple bottles that were corn yellow. and made the nails look like I smoked all day. Gross. I just got these 2 new ones and FINALLY, they are like the original one I used all those years ago. Nice bright white color and no burning nail beds! I would stick with this seller unless you have a bad experience. I got these earlier than the promised date, too

I made the mistake of having a gel manicure done on my nails in December 2014. Before then, my nails were not in the best of shape due to a physical condition, but the gel mani totally destroyed what was left of my nails. For over a year, I have not been able to get them to grow more than just past my finger tips before they would break, split, peel, tear, or crack. Nothing worked. I tried OPI, Nail Tek, and every other expensive nail strengthener I could find ($6 drug store to $18 professional store). I've been using this nail hardener for 4 weeks now and I haven't broken a nail yet. I can't honestly say they're growing fast, but they are not breaking or chipping. Please read the directions thoroughly and follow them completely. The first 2 weeks, I applied a VERY THIN coat from the middle of my nail to the tip. My nails had a light tingly sensation for a few minutes that soon disappeared. After 2 weeks, I tried applying a VERY THIN coat to my full nails. Again, I got the light tingly sensation that disappeared quickly. I have been extremely care to not apply the hardener close to my cuticles or the edges of my nails so there's no chance it will get on my skin. For the people who are afraid of the formaldehyde ingredient, please Google "formaldehyde" and you'll find it's in clothing, beauty products, and even food in small doses. I don't believe there's enough formaldehyde in this product that gets applied to my nails that is any worse that what I'm already exposed to each day.

Been using this product for more than a decade. This Seller was extraordinary in helping me locate the original difficult-to-obtain formula! My natural nails look magnificent again whereas without this product, they are thin, short and snag on everything. Recommend 1000 percent from THIS Seller!

I have been using this nail hardener once a week under my gel polish for about a month now. I have natural nails that are not damaged, but I use my hands a lot and want to keep my nails from bending, cracking, and chipping. I have experienced no discomfort using this product. It does go on slightly yellow, but since I put colored polish on over it that does not matter to me. It does not appear to discolor the nail itself. My nails have gotten stronger and longer. They can take a lot more abuse now. The existing cracks and tears are growing out and I have not seen any new ones forming. I am glad that I purchased the the pack of 2 bottles as I intend to keep using this product. I apply it to my entire bare nail but I am careful to not get it on my cuticles. UPDATE: I have been using the nail hardener for several months now and I am very impressed by how strong and healthy my nails look now. I used to have a nail or two that appeared pulled up from the nail bed at my fingertip and was unsightly. Now all of my nails are uniform with a nice white half moon beyond the fingertip. I am very pleased with the results of using this product. It is definitely the best nail hardener that I have ever used. I highly recommend it.
