LakeshoreRainbow Scratch Paper

My son is obsessed with these scratch art papers and we always keep a stash of them handy because he uses them every day. He has autism and the scratching seems to provide him a calming, sensory stress release, and he usually just simply scratches the black off rather than drawing pictures with them, although he does draw with them sometimes too. We have tried all the different brands out there, and these are by far the best quality and value we've found. The Melissa and Doug brand does have cool colors and backgrounds, but the black stuff flakes off in big chunks and gets everywhere, making a huge mess. They are not worth the money. Color zone scratchers are pretty good, but you don't get as many sheets as with these, nor as many scratch pencils, which tend to get dull points and not work as well after awhile, not to mention get lost. If you're in the market for scratch papers, get these -- they are the best and trust me, I've done the research to make that claim! My son spends many happy hours with these so they're worth paying the shipping!

I teach an Art Class in a retirement home. I presented this project. They loved it! You can't help but get a good result! You are scratching thru black to the bright colors underneath. Everyone went home with a great piece of artwork.

Great buy. Found this one in a little note pad version. My kids loved it so much I was amazed to find this for sale. Very fun and entertaining. Great for crafty people too.

Outstanding project for Vacation Bible School or the classroom. Paper is stiff enough not to tear with the scratching and the kids loved it. They were able to complete the project in 30 minutes, but older students could easily spend more time.

So much fun for the kids and adults. Scratches easily, but not TOO easily. Colors underneath are vibrant. I would buy these again.

This is so neat!! My granddaughter and I like the color changes as we draw on the pages. Have to be careful because the top scratches easy. This would be neat for bible school arts, kids at home, school, or anyone. Just fun!
