Works fine
Kind of hard to rate this anything but 1 or 5 stars, it either works or it doesn't. My cable provider decided to start charging $3.95 to lease the cable modem, but did say you could purchase your own, and gave a list of compatible units. I have my phone service through the cable, and a tv tuner in my PC, so I needed 3 cables. I'm not fluent in all the tech nuances of cable, but a little bit of poking around on the Googles told me the unbalanced splitter was the way to go, use the -3.5db output for the internet, and the two -7db outputs for the others. After I hooked everything up, the internet was running fine, I ran SpeedTest.net and got 20mb/s down and 1.5 mb/s up, same as I had before the change. (Funny side note; the cable company said if I had phone service, I would need an eMTA when I activated my new cable modem. I used their online chat feature, and the "tech" I chatted with said to go to the service center to get one. When I got there, the rep said it was already in the old modem. I said yes, but I purchased one and have to turn the old one in to avoid the monthly lease fee. She said as soon as I activated the modem I bought, it would be fine. Got the bill, she was right. So the MORON on chat made me waste an hour driving for nothing, and WHY THE F*** DID THEY MAKE ME BUY A MODEM WHILE THE OLD ONE IS STILL SITTING ON MY DESK FOR FREE???? I'm guessing this cable company is run by the government.)

Good splitter
Used this to split the Coax stream from the FIOS ONT to the router and TV boxes. Picture is fine on the TVs and internet speeds appear to not have changed. Product works as advertised.

Worked great for cable TV and modem split
This worked great for splitting the modem and TV boxes on the cable. Make sure you plug them into the right outputs and it works great with xfinity.

Great product for my needs; Works for MOCA with Tivos
Bought this to help add another cable connection to enable a Tivo Mini in another room. This is working well for my MOCA setup with Tivos. I recommend using the 3.5dB port for your cable internet connect and the other ports for your other needs. I initially used the balanced splitter and while everything worked, I noticed that while I surfed on the internet every so often when accessing a new web page it would time out. I did not experience this before and could not figure out the cause. The only thing changed was going from a 2 way splitter to the 3 way splitter. I then decided to use this unbalanced one, so I could minimize the signal loss for the cable modem connection. I can say now that everything is running perfectly. I guess my cable modem is very sensitive to signal quality.

Awesome splitter!!
So I have spectrum internet, when they came and installed the coax lines in my house (house was older and had no existing internal lines) they ran 1 line into the house, split it 2 ways, one went to a bedroom for TV only, one went to living room, in the living room the coax line was split 2 ways again for the modem and TV box. After doing some research I discovered that this was not the best way to have a modem set up. So what I did was eliminate the 2-way sptlitter in my living room and replaced the FIRST 2- way with this 3-way Unbalanced splitter, ran a separate high quality coax line to my living room for the modem alone, leaving the existing line for the TV. hooked up the modem to the 3.5db port and the 2 Tvs to the 7db ports. Modem signal was improved and connection was more stable! Overall this is a great splitter! Solid build. The less splits you have in your coax lines the better!
