Howard RF3016 Restor-A-Finish, 16-Ounce, Golden Oak

I’m absolutely thrilled with this product! I was planning to redo my stairs but decided to try this instead, and it worked wonders. For just $10, my stairs look brand new! It only took me about 20 minutes to clean and stain them. I used a microfiber cloth and simply wiped them down. I highly recommend this product!

Amazing item. We have soft pine wood work/trim thought out our home. Was a simple fix. Just while on with soft cloth and allow to dry. Looks brand new. We have soft pine which the worse for marks a scratches. Excellent product

This product works well on refreshing wood furniture. It adds "matching" color to scratches, scraps and dings the furniture may have picked up over the years while adding a bright shine. With some steel wool it also gets rid of stubborn superficial blemishes. The steel wool work well around all the legs/feet of furniture.I used it on my 20+ year bedroom set (bedframe, 2 nightstands, 2 oversized dressers, desk and chair). The whole set looks great. The set only had minor problems but for 2 areas. This is where don't expect miracles comes in. I did not expect this to work on my issues and it did not. One night stand has water damage and the desk has an area where the finish has worn down to bare wood (from arms resting on it while doing computer work.) I will need to sand and refinish these the traditional way. Also if you have a deep scratch/ding, it will not fill it in. It will only add color to it so it is not a noticeable.Hope this helps. This is something to use before problems get out of hand.

The first two photos are before and the last three are the afters.This product is so easy to use. No gloves, no strong odor and not hard work and really reasonably priced considering how well it works. You simply apply it to the .0000 steel wool pads and follow their instructions (which are basically a one two three). I did this hyge piece in about 2 and a half hours (maybe even less). I then followed up with their Feed and Wax product and you can see the end results are beautiful! I highly recommend this if you really don't want or need to actually strip your piece. At first I thought this would only be a temporary fix, but I did this on Saturday 1/4 and it still looks brand new. I have tried similar solutions but they only hid the damage temporarily (just evaporated) but this really goes into the wood like magic. If you try it, you will not be sorry

I have always liked Howard Products. Restor-A-Finish has certainly confirmed that again. I have a large floor that gets a lot of hard wear. ( I had 5 indoor cats.....down to two now ). I hated the thought of having to hire someone to sand and finish this 15.5 ft x 22 ft. floor. So, after reading the write-up of this product, I decided to try it first. The floor was so bad it couldn't hurt to try. I was totally amazed and blown away by the beautiful results. I had purchased 2 - 16oz. cans but needed only one. My floor is gorgeous and believe me it was badly in need of restoration. I am so very glad I tried this product and as they suggested will apply their Feed and Wax product now. My floor is oak so I purchased the Golden Oak color and it did a fantastic job. Super easy to apply...I just used a rag and elbow grease and didn't skimp on the product. My floor was really bad and now looks great.

Used this on my solid oak kitchen cabinets. Cleaned the cabinets then applied the product. It was easy to apply, no offensive odor, and worked great. 43 year old cabinets look almost new. Very pleased.

This stuff saved me so much time. I use to refinish everything from scratch. Clean, sand, re-stain. It would make a huge mess and take a long time.This stuff is pure magic. I now keep a few colors stocked at all times. As far as those colors are concerned, it really does matter which color you choose, so do a test first. I have used a good range of the colors and they just work so well. I love this stuff and would never be without it again.It still smells a little, so it's best to use it outside, but not nearly as much as stain.Great stuff, seriously, just try it once and you'll be hooked.

My wife and I applied it on the kitchen cabinets and they look like new. Great product.
