I wanted a solar flickering torch that i could use in my Halloween decorations. The touches that came with 4 foot rods were always plastic, and i didn't like that idea. So i ultimately bought my own metal lantern rods and then these lanterns to hang from them. What i really liked about these was that they look more like old fashioned lamps than most others i saw on Amazon.The sister panels worked great. I had 2 lanterns more in the sun and 2 under full shade of the tree. I was happy that they all still charged and turned on by 6 pm, when it got dark. The lanterns that were in shade died by 9 or 10 pm, and the other lasted until after 11 pm (i didn't usually check after 11, so i don't know how long they actually lasted).As for brightness, they were obvious from a block away, but they definitely weren't bright enough to light up objects more than 12 inches away. But for my Halloween purposes, that was the perfect amount of creepy light.

I bought them for Halloween but they look nice enough to leave out all year. One did break from the handle when I was taking it out of the box but I bought them as a table top decoration.

I am SO happy I bought these! They look awesome outside with my Halloween display. They have such a nice warm glow, the flame looks real flickering in the dark and I couldn’t believe they really do last all night until morning! They’re so cute and just the design I was looking for and I loved that they can either be hung up or staked in the ground. I sadly broke one of the stakes but that was my fault because the ground was hard and I hit a rock. The stakes are plastic so I recommend using another tool to make a hole first. Very, very happy with these! If you’re on the fence, I’d say to buy!

I have these hanging underneath my patio cover. And everyone that comes over loves them. They're more for the Ambiance and not for the brightness. But I've plan on getting some more. I'm having trouble with one of them but I'm pretty sure it's just the battery and not the product

I like the style,the flame,and the price wasn't.too bad.

So I bought them a week ago and the first couple nights they stayed lit for a very long time. However, the last two nights they didn't even last four hours. It says they should be lit all night. I do like how they look and the fact that I was able to decorate the lights in the jar how I wanted, but I'm a little disappointed in their declining lighting. I also think they are not too bright and help light the back patio without being overbearing.We had a couple thunderstorms too, which they seemed to have taken very well. So I'm not sure if something broke that they no longer stay on past four hours or if there is something else going on.

I bought these a couple of months ago to hang on a shepherd's hook in the back yard. They have not disappointed! They are very pretty and they stay lit all night long. I get up most mornings before dawn and they are still glowing. Would definitely buy them again.
