Karlsson Little Big Time Mini Wall Clock Black - Modern Decorative Clock for Kitchens and Home Decor

I first bought this clock at another retailer about 5 years ago because I enjoyed the faceless look. It held up well for 5 years, until I stupidly changed the time and moved the hands backward rather than clockwise. Completely my fault. The clock is flimsy, but it's not like one is going to carry it around with them every where. Once it's set on the wall, the only time one would have to touch it is to change the battery or adjust the clock for DST. I changed the battery at DST (twice a year), which is why I'm giving this clock 5 stars. It's a bit pricey for being just a clock, but there aren't many like it. A little advice when placing the clock on the wall: don't make the setting screw into the wall so deep as to aim for that "perfect" flush. Allow the clock a little wiggle room to allow for removal easily. Also, when taking down the clock, place an index finger on the clock's center, as this will provide enough stability so the hands aren't moving during removal. Just a little TLC and this clock will last you 5+ years as well. Just never, ever, turn the hands counter-clockwise. Hope this helps. UPDATE 12/7/2012: NOTICE: The image displayed is *NOT* the clock you will receive. The version shown is an older model as the product I received was smaller, its hands about 2" shorter. Please take a closer look at the product image and compare it to the user photo uploaded and you will see how the hands overlap the base on both ends while the photo clearly shows only the hands extend beyond the base. Despite this change, the clock I received is actually better than the one I owned (pictured). The hands are more stable on the base and so far, the clock is doing very well performance wise. The battery case was also updated, removing the back panel the original had for easier battery exchange. Still keeping the 5 star review despite the changes. It keeps time well (after having it a month), and it looks great. The minute hand is a little longer than I expected, and you have to remember that the sweep of the minute hand will require about an 18" diameter. If the minute hand is pointing directly up, and measuring from the base of the clock...you need 11". Important to know if it may go near the ceiling (as it did in my case). Also, it's a little difficult to mount just right, because if you simply hang it on a nail, the body of the clock will swivel as the minute hand moves towards the 3 or 9. The body is just stamped steel, very lightweight and is thrown off balance by the hands. So I had to go outside...wander the streets until I found an old lead wheel weight, and stick it in the bottom of the clock to give it more weight. Aside from the weight issue...it's a great clock

Really like the minimalistic design. However, as the hands rotate around the center pivot point, the torque causes the center unit to shift which distorts the time and causes the unit to eventually fall off the wall. We added weights to the inside bottom edge and really anchored the unit to the wall with additional mounting screws and now it works fine and we love the way it looks in our bathroom. It is so inexpensive, that with these few upgrades you can have a nice fixture that everyone comments on.

this is not a clock, it is a time statement piece, a utilitarian work of modern art for your wall. That being said, it is also reeks of cheap construction. a plastic cup with clock hands that weighs practically nothing is useless to me if a breeze blows it off the wall and the hands get bent into outrageous shapes that will never again return to their simple, straightforward design. When that happens, you pick up the clock, throw it in the trash, and order another one from Amazon, only this time use some double sided tape as part of the installation procedure. Yes, this is the second clock I've bought within a month, and I justified it because the clock is so strikingly beautiful. a true statement piece, but, dang...be careful with it!!

I bought this clock in addition to decals and picture frames for my wall. It looks beautiful however the cock has never worked since I got it (a few days ago). I have change out the batteries 3 times thinking that maybe it was just the batteries, but still not luck. The hands are very delicate and it just seems like its made cheap. I'm very disappointed after spending $30 for this and it doesn't work.

Kind of cheap, after reading some reviews I hung this movement with a weight in the bottom of the mount to stabilize. It worked well for a while but fell of the wall often and eventually the hour and minute hands bent and didn't function correctly and we ended up throwing it away. It lasted a little less than a year at our house. It is a cool product because we were able to make any size wall clock we wanted, but it is definitely a cheap version.

Bought for a wall clock. We made the numbers with picture frames. This worked perfect for it.

This is a very stylish clock. I hung it without any of the numbers or other additions that others have described. I really like it's minimalist look on our wall. It was a little tricky to hang. You need to keep the screw head about 1/4 inch from the wall to engage the hook on the clock. Once you do that it is quite secure Some have complained about hands coming off. This is a feather light clock that clearly states in the packaging "don't adjust using the hands." Follow the instructions and there should be no problem. So far it is keeping perfect time.

This is a high quality item that works perfectly well. It keeps excellent time. It was purchased to mount in a burl wood structure I made to be a decorator/designer wall clock. the quality of the clock perfectly complements the wood. Interestingly, it was shipped the day after ordering from Britain, which was amazing considering the very small amount of shipping required...It came in a box and was well protected from damage.

Im Zuge der Küchenrenovierung musste eine neue Uhr her. Nachdem zunächst einige "gewöhnlichere" Uhren in die enge Auswahl kamen fiel die Wahl letzten Endes auf dieses einfache aber schicke Modell ohne Ziffern. Die Lieferung ging wie immer ratz fatz und die Uhr kam gut verpackt an. Sie macht einen durchaus hochwertigen Eindruck, zumindest so, wie man es von einer Uhr eben erwarten würde. Also Batterie rein, Nagel in die Wand (es wird auch eine Schraube samt Dübel mitgeliefert), Uhr eingestellt und schon ist die Uhr einsatzbereit. Sie sieht an unserer grauen Küchenwand todschick aus und ist ein echter Hingucker, das Ticken ist zudem sehr leise und fällt überhaupt nicht auf, wir sind absolut begeistert. Von mir daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung, man sollte sich jedoch klar machen, dass man die Uhrzeit ohne Ziffern oder sonstige Markierungen nicht peinlich genau ablesen kann. Für unsere Zwecke ist dies jedoch absolut ausreichend.

Très contente des deux horloges, beaucoup de style, aucun bruit et montrent bien l'heure (ça fait 15 jours maintent et l'heure est toujours précise), par contre faites très attention pour la sortir du carton, l'horloge y est collée très forte (faut couper au tour avec des ciseaux et puis enlever le carton par après !)
