These are made extremely well and work as intended. They are $ more than the standard cardboard file boxes but well worth it. You can stack multiple boxes with no issue. Will continue to purchase as needed.

I know a lot of people have had bad luck with these, but I think it really comes down to how badly shipping beat it up for you. Mine came in great shape and seals well. It is sturdy enough for it's intended purpose though I would be wary of stacking anything to heavy on top. It has a tendency to bow under weight and lose it's seal.Pro tip: If you have some of those silica packets (those little bags you find in some pill bottles etc to keep moisture out and say "do not eat") throw them in the bottom of this. If you live where you ever get any humidity it's possible to trap some with the papers and possibly get condensation issues, this prevents that. Don't have any? I purchased a set of these years ago. I had to search to find them again now. These are Iris latching handles plastic file boxes. They nest on top of one another. They are translucent, so I put post it notes on the inside facing out as labels. The handles are rounded and comfortable for lifting when they are heavy and full, and the handles latch to keep the top secured. I broke a handle in a move and recently asked Iris if they sell replacement handles. No response yet but I'm hopeful. These are a good value for a set of 4. I love these file boxes. They have runners along each edge for hanging files, either letter or legal sized paper.

This is the second time I've bought these. I like that they are opaque, and that they stack on top of one another. I had no problem with the first set I bought. With the second set, one of the boxes arrived with a long, deep crack the entire length of one side and partly along the bottom, and one of the handles was broken. The four boxes came in a not very strong cardboard box with no padding, making it appear that the bottom box broke when the package was dropped before delivery. No one at the company answered the phone when I called numerous times, though amazon gave me a partial refund when I called them.

I downsized everything...and just kept my important papers that were absolutely needed...and I purchased these FILE FOLDER CONTAINERS to go under my 18" platform bed! They are perfect. All these need to keep files....but not need to access files are in a watertight container that has great lids and stack so easily if needed. Excellent item...and they cost a bit more than some file folder containers and ARE WORTH IT...much studied, handles make it easy to carry and they will not have any moisture or dust ...and these containers are not going to break easily....really well made.

These are weak inferior containers. They arrived broken and were not able to be returned and I was not granted a refund. I will never order this poor quality product again. The misrepresent the product's structural integrity and refuse to return my purchase price by asking me to return the product that broke apart and was discarded after I sent a photo to document the condition on arrival.

Sturdy box, but the latches on the lid are very easily broken. The latch is held in the box with a small round hinge pin (nub- or peg- or dowel-like part) on each side of the black latch piece that snaps into the 4 corners, and those hinge pins break VERY easily. Bought 8 of these boxes and nearly half of them had broken lid latches when they arrived making them useless for real moisture protection in storage which was my primary concern. As the remaining usable boxes were being packed, a few more of the latches broke when slightly too much force was applied while working quickly.I would not recommend this product unless the lid latching is not important to you.The boxes that didn't have broken latches were easy to use, sturdy but lightweight and feel like they're made of heavy duty plastic. If the latches weren't so easily broken, or if they were replaceable, or if you could fix them by melting them back together (which I attempted without success) these would be great. But that's not the case, so I do not recommend this product.
