Works well and is solidly made
I ordered this USB for a friend of mine who has Down Syndrome and likes to use his phone (no sim) to take photographs, including photographs of notes for his father. He had filled most of the memory on his phone but did not want to delete anything and this seemed an ideal solution as he could use the USB C connection to transfer photos to the flash drive and the USB 3 at the library to print any he wanted to. So far it works as expected. It seems quite solidly built compared to some flash drives and has a handy LED light that flashes when first inserted and it is a good idea to wait for the flashing to stop before trying to open it (my experience). It took some time to set up and it helps if you download Files by Google from the Playstore (Android I'm not sure for Apple) as this makes everything a lot easier. A Google search will provide some clear instructions for the first time set up but after that it seems straightforward. I'm not sure if you can save direct to the flash drive as I've not tried that yet so it is possible you may have to save to the device first then transfer the file. So far everything seems to work as advertised and as quickly as any flash drive I've used with a laptop. It connects firmly to the phone and laptop ports but it is still new so time will tell here. In terms of value for money it was about £2 more expensive than other 128 gig flash drives but was slightly better rated which was why I chose it and so far I would say it is worth the price.

Seemed great at the time
Bought 2 of these, both for use in cars. This one failed outright after just 5 months and the other one is temperamental as to whether or not the car will identify it as being plugged in, even if left in place and the engine turned off. The (kinda) working one identifies fine if plugged into a PC, but the dead one shows up as an unidentified storage device that fails to start up. Both were initialised on the same PC and both had the exact same music files copied across. I'm guessing I should have gone with a more recognised/reliable brand. Lesson learned.
