Yeah pretty decent given the price !
Wouldn't take notice of the bad reviews , loverly knifes, don't dishwash as it is open wood , but hand wash and don't submerg and they last well, and very Sharp !

LOOK AUTHENTIC
I wanted a set of wooden handled knives as I wanted a good old fashioned set and I have always bought black handles ones in the past.They do look attractive and are sharp however the finish is quite smooth as if lacquered I assume they are more hygienic because of the finish which is a good thing but it does take away from the rugged wood effect.

Exceptional knives!
We bought a set of steak knives years ago and are so impressed with them we bought this additional set. These things stay sharp much longer than any other knives we've had, and the quality is excellent. The wooden handles on these are a little rougher than those on the steak knife set, but not worth knocking off a star!
