The book reveals many points about current history and faith that have often been overlooked in other scholarship. I am glad to have it as part of my library.

Superficial and sometimes confusing.Examples: 1. 'Tewahdo' in some places defined as a unity of old and new testament. Really?2. A statement 'Ethioipian church not represented in the Chalcedonian council.' Wasn't the Ethiopian church under the Egyptian Synodat that time?3. Explanations on how Ethiopian Orthodox church is different from orientals is NEW. It made it appear we were close to Chalcedonians.

I found this text very informative and well-written. I am purchasing this, a second copy as a gift.

The book doesn't explain the true theology of Ethiopian Orthodox .The writer writes without knowing the real theology of the church.He writes his openion.
