Yes, it is true that you will need to "sacrifice" about half of the labels. But the labels are well worth the price. They are easy to sew in by hand or machine and look absolutely great. Colors and style are perfect.

I love these little tags but there is a problem. There isn't much space between the tags to fold and sew them. They have to be folded and sewn because the ends fray. I sewed it onto a poncho I crocheted but I'm going to have to take it off and redo it because its fraying. You have to cut into the two tags beside it to have enough space to sew a seem. The other thing I've tried is sewing two tags together inside out. We'll see which works better, I guess time will tell. I still think they are cute and since there are so many on the roll it's worth if for me.

I must mention that I almost didn't buy this item because of the reviews, however I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Some complained that the margins were not wide enough to sew around, others complained about the spelling but I only noticed one misspelled in the series of five different looks in the roll. I remedied both these issues by folding over the ends of two options I didn't like, using pinking shears to make my cut so the fabric doesn't fray which it didn't, and then sewing around the label that I liked. Yes this does waste some of the roll however there is plenty enough to make dozens of projects even using my method. And I still feel that it's worth the $7 or so that I paid. Some expect so much for so few dollars and it deters people away.

I'm a garment sewists and these are absolutely perfect and professional looking on all the clothes I have seen. Because I use a serger/over locker, the tags make my clothes look store bought.

They are better than expected. I thought they would be made of a cheaper material but they're very nicely made and the perfect size

This product was as described. I wish that there was more space between each label to make for easier sewing on the label.
