Very interesting take on DC Titans
DC Titans is a very interesting series you have your mix of drama action and some light-hearted comedy element thanks 2 Ryan Potter Beast Boy performance. The other key points are Dick Grayson and Rachel father daughter relationship is very endearing even though he's not her bio father that don't seem to matter it shows he really cares about her and gar also his struggle to find balance between leaving Gotham. Also he relationship with Starfire grows and is strain friendship with Hank and is former intimate relationship with Dawn. This also offers a lot of aspects of other characters. Also we see Donna Troy and and her friendship with Dick Grayson when they were kids and the Doom Patrol in a earlier episode the fight scenes are awesome will choreograph. Besides the graphic violence there is also some very touching moments between several other characters. DC Comics has a very excellent show. As a DC Comics fan of the bat family and Wonder Woman and Superman and Young Justice and the arrowverse this series in my opinion this series out classes the arrowverse defintely it seems like the DC universe we have more creative control over there series the writing seems more evolved it seems like Titans is their Alpha of series. Also some very great supporting characters and some very big twist and one not so interesting villain. Jason Todd character seems very eager and upbeat but it seem he has a very cruel side beyond his upbeat self. Lets just say I am he has his own inner demons one of the most dangerous guys, does not hold back when comes to the police. Jason Todd in his own words and my opinion is fuckthepolice he gave them his own version of police brutality the police don't know who they are f****** comes down to Jason Todd. Dick and Jason are very different characters with different backgrounds but they work very good together. series out classes the arrowverse it is very hard to say that in my opinion I'm a big fan of The Flash Supergirl and arrow basically these are very great .

Beyond Teen Titans
I grew up reading Teen Titans and have been pleased with the DCU Animated movies take on them. The live series is a pleasant surprise. It is dark and bloody. The characters are likable and made very human. One big flaw in season 1 is how many characters have no memory of their past. Having one character with that allows you to have a guide to the story, 2 or more drags it down.I saw one review that mentions these are not the "teen" Titans. That is mostly true. Rachel/Raven & Gar/Beast Boy are portrayed as teens with all the emotional baggage that entails. Dick Grayson & Kory are portrayed as being mid to late 20's or older. These 4 characters drive the story. Dick has issues with commitment and violence. Kory has no understanding of her past. Rachel is being hunted but doesn't know why. Gar is the fun loving Beast Boy who has to deal with the consequences of being a "beast."There are wonderful side characters in the series. Hawk and Dove are given almost too much screen time. Donna Troy is a breathe of fresh air in the series. Jason Todd is disturbing. Doom Patrol is wonderful. For a first season introduction I think they did well, not superb. I can't wait to see what happens in season 2, and how soon before we are introduced to Terra

Really Dark version of the Teen Titans
This series is okay. If you've actually followed Dick Grayson as a character in DC, you'll probably find this version VERY dark and contrary to everything he stands for as a person. I'd say the take on him in this series is much more like a darker version of Jason Todd. Also, in general, the Titans all seem to enjoy killing with easy in the beginning of this series, with the exception of Beast Boy. Making this series more of a thriller than a superhero series to start, as especially Robin/Nightwing famously has a no-kill policy in DC comics, just like his mentor. I haven't gotten very far in it yet, so I hope they calm down as the show progresses, but this series gives the show Gotham a run for it's money.

it could be better
I liked it, it was good, but it seems they have forgotten the lessons of Man of Steel/Batman, and that is that Superman is amazing, positive, wow, and Batman is that scary psycho you don't want to be near. So, this is based on the Judas Contract era of the Teen Titans, and does a nice job of bringing likeable characters into a few episodes and then continuing onto the main story. This also suffers from a lack of costumes, besides Hawk and Dove, and Robin, there really aren't any costumes. There is also the cold effect, as wherever they were filming was snowed over which doesn't give the best color pallet.I will buy season two as well, because why pay for a subscription service that you can't watch on a 65" tv?

Love this Show
Loved the old Teen Titans show but always thought that it could address a few of the harder point... kept forgetting that it was for children. Love that they've updated the series and am looking forward to being able to watch this whenever I want.
