This product is easy to use, very beneficial for trees, both new and established. I have used it to save 3 trees in my yard from disease and gumbo clay soil. You can see results in a very short period of time, by the leaves being more supple, greener and more resilient to dry weather summer stress in the Midwest. It is best used in the early spring, April in zones 5 & 6. Would recommend its use to anyone.

I have used this tree and shrub fertilizer for many years along with the Ross deep root water tool/applicator. The fertilizer refills are becoming hard to find in stores (even if you CAN.) However a quick online search brought me here. Easy instructions, easy to apply and the tool puts the fertilizer where it needs to be... DEEP!. Just follow the tree canopy dreep line or just slightly outside. Amazing product!

This product works well and was received in the mail quickly. I purchased it off the internet again this year because I have numerous large trees and shrubs and can not get the product locally in sufficient quantity. The price is about the same locally or at this site. After many years the tip of my applicator tube is finally worn out with the hole enlarging too much so I will need to buy a new one. They are available locally so will not need to order it. This method is time consuming and back breaking but I find it worth the effort as my trees are always much healthier and grow faster than my neighbors.

The Ross Root Feeder is a very effective fertilizer-dispensing device, equivalent to a medical IV infusion and with the same greater effectiveness. The Tree & Shrub pellets are a top-rated fertilization product, and they dissolve rapidly in the pellet chamber when your garden hose is attached and water flowing through it. This "hypodermic injection" allows placement of the fertilizer directly into the tree or shrub's root system, which is a good deal more effective than the typical surface applications.

I remember my dad using this in the 90's down in Corpus Christi were the weather can be hot and dry at times. Now that I have my own home in Austin TX were the weather is definitely hot and dry most of the time. My two Oak trees that were thriving during the big rain we got in May started to look bad after the rain past. They lost all their leaves and I thought they were going to die. I used this product and in 3 days the leaf buds started to sprout. Thanks dad for the lesson 20 years ago!

Great product for feeding trees and bushes! Easy to use-but not always easy to find. Wsih that the seller also carries other Ross products such as rose bush feed pellets and systemic insecticide pellets too.

I have used this product for decades and it absolutely is the best means to get water and fertilizer to tree roots, especially during droughts. However, it takes a long time for the cartridges to dissolve and if you have a lot of shrubs and trees, prepare to spend a couple of hours just moving it around. In addition, the current root feeder is very poor compared to the one from years past.

These are essential where I live due to poor soil for my fruit trees. VERY expensive and am constantly looking for other options but these do a really good job.

These do a much better job of fertilizing since it allows you to get right to the roots. Trees and plants love it.
