Fisher-Price Dora the Explorer Window Surprises Dollhouse

My wife and I originally chose to pass on this due to the horrible reviews we'd read, however in the end gave in to our daughter after she begged "Santa" for it. I'm honestly very glad that we did, as she loves it!Now let me be blunt, this is NOT the most high quality doll house on the market. However, based on the price it is more than acceptable and about what we expected. She has been playing with it for 3 days now and had been having a blast with the accessories she received along side it. The overall house is the perfect size for her as well and fits easily into our living room or her bed room without taking over the entire room. She is also able to lug it around where she wants, something that wouldn't have been possible with most of the overly expensive, large doll houses we looked at.The one big thing I would recommend though is to buy the accessories that go with it (her favorite has been the shower/tub one for some reason). While it comes with enough to keep a young one occupied for a short while, you'll definitely need some other rooms to really get a great play value out of it long term.

We bought this for our four year old daughter with all the furniture and Dora's friends for Christmas. She really wanted a Dora doll house from Santa. I really don't think it is worth the money since the house only comes with the couch and a Dora. The windows feature got stuck once but started to work after pressing on it a little. I'm not sure how long it will hold up. My daughter and my son (he's two) like to watch Dora and will play with the house and recreate stories. They will actually spend 30 to 45 minutes at a time playing with the house. So, I don't think the house itself or the accesories are worth the money but the fact that my kids are enjoying it makes it worth it to me. The only furniture that fit well in the house was Dora's bed/desk. The bathroom only fits if you make it into the shower instead of bathtub and the kitchen table works better placed on the floor in front of the house instead of in the house.

I realize for the price of $80 this would be overpriced but we paid $40 and for that price I think its worth it. Its bigger than I expected from these reviews but we needed one kind of small for space reasons even though I really love the fisher price loving family dollhouse. I bought this and 4 sets of furniture for the house for my 4 yr old whom just wanted a dollhouse. To me it seems durable unless you have really rough kids but my daughter is rough and so far no issues. My only complaint is having hard time finding more figures for it.

I got this Dora the Explorer Window Surprises house last year for my daughters for Christmas (they were 4 years old). After seeing the commercials every other minute on TV I thought that it would be cute for them to play with. The design is cute and inviting but other then that, its just like every other doll house out there. Had to change the batteries 3 times within the first week of using it. When trying to slide the background from season to season it would get stuck a lot and I would have to fix it. After a while I would just keep it off so that I wouldn't have to deal with the batteries draining on me. Sad to say this Dora house has been sitting in my daughters closet for the past year now not even really being played with. Don't spend your hard earned money on this item. There are many other doll houses out there that cost way less and don't require the constant battery change!!

Loved it

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas, it looked great online. When she opened it she loved it - especially the lamp and other little things that actually light up inside the house, and the changing seasons window. I noticed right away that the stickers included did not actually match the house - you are supposed to decorate the house with sticker rugs, etc... and only a few actually fit. We were away for the Holidays and returned in early January, and she did not play with it for a couple of weeks or so - recently she tried and nothing worked - we replaced the brand new batteries and that did not work either - we missed the return window from Amazon by 2 days and are now stuck with a product that does not work and is "brand new". DONT BUY.

We purchased this product for my 4 year old who asked for a doll house for Christmas. It really is that just a good doll house. My little girl doesn't have a great attention span so as there is nothing except Dora and the house she doesn't play with it very long. She does love it though! We plan in getting more furniture soon, hope that creates more of an interest.

Didn’t include anything except a Dora and a couch. I have seen several since my purchase equally as good for less than half the cost.
