46CSC654 CS-Series CSC65 6.5-Inch (160mm) Coaxial Speakers, 4-Ohm (Pair)

Chose these based off feedback of other users saying these were about the best you can get for around 80 bucks and they were correct. These were installed in the rear of an extended cab truck where there were no original rear speakers an connected to a head unit that puts out 50w per channel. No amp or anything like that, an they replaced a similar set of 6.5 125w pioneer speakers. They are mounted to a plate and are not really considered " enclosed". These sound more substantial than the pioneers and I can crank them almost to max before becoming distorted. I'm guessing because of the open configuration, it takes away from providing a serious amount of bass, however there is plenty of bass and very clear sounding and more enjoyable than the almost 10 year older ones they replaced. Also the Kicker speaker is noticeably heavier, thicker, and has a bigger magnet. Very happy with this upgrade! So much I'm replacing the fronts with the exact same ones. The sound quality was very enjoyable prior, and was very much improved with this reasonably priced upgrade. If you have a decent head unit, these should work well. I did use sound mat material on the inside of the cab and body panels and not sure how this impacted the sound quality, but I jam out now! I enjoy all types of music and it all sounds good at higher levels than I could previously listen to them. Hard to go wrong with these if your connecting to a standard setup, especially for the price.

Great sound! I really like the three-way sound of these speakers. They were installed with a combination. Kicker 10-in subwoofer self-contained 100 amp for a small Jeep. It really made the difference. Old TJ's. I believe it's going to be a good quality speaker for the price only had installation in for about a month.

Love the sound (I do need a 8' sub replacement in my 2011 kia soul). The only problem I had was the size beng off. I had to saw off about a 1/4inch of a piece of each speaker for them to fit in my back door panels. I've always been a big fan of Kickers

Nice speakers, paired with the CS 6x9s on my 05 Tacoma and very happy with the upgrade. Solid speakers, awesome build quality, and real easy to hook up if you bought the right supporting mods (METRA adapter plates and connectors, ONLY METRA). Slight distortion at high bass and treble levels at loud volumes, but still much better than stock. Will make your mirrors rattle if the EQ is tuned right. No regrets on this purchase.

Purchased 2 pairs of these for my 1999 Honda CR-V. I picked these over another brand because the screw holes on these Kickers are the only ones I found that line up with the 3 screw layout on 90s Hondas. The install went smoothly with a nice fit, no cutting or trimming needed. They fit both the front door speakers and the rear trunk speakers. I was not able to install the metal mesh on top of the speaker as there were clearance issues, but I just installed without them as the speaker is covered by the door panel and the mesh don’t affect sound quality. I purchased the wiring harness adapter separately for a quick install- this kit includes the cables but you would have to splice into your wiring harness. The reviews are true; really great sound for the money. The speakers are clear, punchy, loud, and sound a whole lot better than the factory speakers. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their car speakers.

Bought SSV 6.5 pods and installed these speakers in them for a 6th gen Bronco. MUCH clearer and more responsive than the factory 4 inch speakers. This is using the factory B&O amp to run them. I'm certain it would be even better if you drive them with a seperate amp. They really improve the soundstage of the factory B&O system.

Purchased this for a 2015 Touareg; audio quality is superb. A wiring harness and mounting bracket are required for installation. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cheaper option for factory speaker replacement. But this will match the factory speakers in terms of audio quality. It's great for the price.
