GLC 5500 Powder (2 lbs.)

Have been giving this to my potbelly pig for 2 years for joint pain and stiffness, and it went OOS everywhere for over a year. GLC 5500 was recommended to me about 10 years ago for my 20 year quarter horse mare to help her joints. Most horses, in our large western riding barn, are on it. It is quite good and highly palatable for my increasingly picky but much beloved senior horse. It is a small amount of powder and the bottle lasts me about 4-5 months, so it is very economical. I have heard that there is a newer edition of this called Actistatin with a greater number of glucosamine powders. My mare seems to eat both, but this works very well for her, so I am not changing it. She has a sticky back hock. If she does not have the GLC 5500, it almost looks as if she has stringhalt, but once I get her back on the supplement, she does much better and the sticking is much less.Would highly recommend and over a long period of time as well. There have been no long-term side effects from taking this for my mare. I have tried other senior joint supplements (through a supplement packaging company) but she went off her feed and I immediately re-ordered the GLC 5500. Happy horse and happy owner! It really works!

GLC5500 is THE purest product for joint health on the market today. I put every horse in my barn, no matter what age, on this and it has not failed to protect my horses joints. My current horse was started on GLC 5500 as a 3 yr old, he is now 14 and is doing exceptional well. I really swear by this product and if you want your horses joints to last you'll put yours on it too.

On the recommendation of my vet, I started buying GLC5500 about a year ago for my horse. I think it has really helped keep her joints working well, and Amazon sells this product at a very competitive price.

I use it on my 65 lb dog, he's had 2 CCL surgeries and has bad arthritis, we were using glc 2000 but it was getting expensive. He gets a heaping scoop of this 2x a day and is doing great. We ran out for 2 days once and he was limping, we boarded him and they only gave it to him once a day and when we picked him up he wouldn't do the stairs. This allows him to have a wonderful quality of life, without it, he would be in pain. Its literally a life saver.EDIT: WELP the price went up over $25 since the last time we ordered it, so we are trying a few alternatives.

This is a great product! I have had my horse on it for about a month and I am already starting to see improvements in how he is going. With some more time, I image I will see even more results. The product was at a great price and it also shipped very quickly. I am very satisfied!

Although it's made for horses, our vet recommended this for our Great Pyrenees dog for his hip problems. We ran out one time and he couldn't climb the stairs. Within 10 days of being back on this, he was back climbing the stairs. He's 7 1/2 and we might have had to put him down by now without it because he is close to 200 pounds. Just use 1/2 to 3/4 scoop once a day for over 100 pounds. Amazing stuff!
