My students loved learning about Lincoln’s love for reading.

This is a great book of Abraham Lincoln to learn more about our American president. The book is well written and the illustrations are amazing. This book is perfect for anyone with littles library.

I bought this for my grandson, age 5 and three fourths. The covid 19 pandemic has kept me from reading it to him. I hope the story encourages him to work hard at learning to read. It shows that Lincoln educated himself by reading, and that he was able to abolish legal slavery.

An absolutely wonderfully and beautifully written book! It’s inspiring and heart warming! My 7 year old son loves this book! This book sends the ultimate message about a boy who’s love for reading, passion for learning and a boy that overcomes adversity to become our president! A boy driven by his love for books and learning! What a wonderful message for young boys! They will love this book!

I purchased this book for a 4 year-old, and it was wonderful. It was almost too long for him, but the details in the pictures held his interest. He asked for it again and again. It's a wonderful story about Abe Lincoln's largely self-taught education, and I would encourage any child to read it.

My 8 year old daughter (now 9) liked this book. It is perfectly ok for younger children as well. I bought it for her before our road trip to Washington DC. Thanks to this book she had a better understanding and appreciation of the Lincoln Memorial & the Lincoln exhibits at the Smithsonian.
