Beautiful Glitchy Fuzz! Need I say more?
Love this. Wide range of Fuzz tones. Smooth like a Fuzz Face but very much tweakable with glitch like effects and very intuitive control when tweaking for all kinds of sounds from soft subtle to "WOW that's a lot of FUZZ!" Very fun pedal. Not a "Big Muff" sound though if you're looking for that.

One of the few pedals still worth buying (if you love fuzz).
Got one and loving its chaotic nature.I cannot properly simulate this with DSP yet, so I had no choice ;-)

A ferocious little beast
I was looking for something a little bit more gain heavy for my pedal board and this little calf delivers in spades. There are are only two controls, a volume knob with plenty of it on tap, and a pulse or bias knob, which with the latter turned all the way to the left you get a fat thick fuzz with loads of sustain, reminiscent of muff on steroids. Be warned it can be quite noisy at this end of the spectrum. As you roll the pulse knob to the right it begins to get velcro or gated fuzz qualities, with all the way to the right producing a sputtered and choked out sound , with this the aforementioned noise decreases as well. Pickups selection and volume knob levels on the guitar can also change how this bison responds. In my experience Zevx produces high quality and innovate pedals that can lead to some wonderful tones and unique sounds, and this tiny little angry bovine lives up to their reputation.

cool, simple pedal
I love the Fuzzalo. Let me start of by saying I truly hated the pedal upon my purchase. I had the same problem as the 1st reviewer; no eq or gain control. After months of screwing around with this thing I fell in love. It's a beefy, burly, buzzy pedal with a good bit of gain and there a few ways to tame it. There is an internal control for passive and active pickups. With the active pickup setting engaged and using my strat I get a more mellow fuzz. Also I use a compressor before the fuzz. If you set the output in you compressor low it will give you a nice smooth fuzz. As for the lack of eq... It's a fuzz pedal so it's gonna be naturally bass heavy with a good bit of mids. I usually just add some extra treble on my amp for a little more definition and I'll cut some bass at higher volumes.

A monster of a fuzz. Here's the deal with ...
A monster of a fuzz. Here's the deal with the mastotron- there's a million fuzz's on the market but this one has gigantic bass presence in the fuzz. By "bass presence" I dont mean playing a bass guitar. Normal guitar, big fuzz, with big powerful bass that you can *feel* (assuming you're playing through a couple 12's). This can be toned down with the toggle switch, but I feel it's the signature of the pedal. There's plenty of tweaking to dial in adjustments, but know that the whole point of this thing is for a really heavy, powerful, bass-y fuzz.

-2 stars for impracticality OR possibly poor quality control
This thing makes insanely interesting sounds, but I was unable to keep it under control. Under most settings, even those suggested on the included docs, this guy would howl and make sounds even when I wasn't playing. Maybe a defective uning, maybe just insane power in a little box. EIther way, a bit too much for me.-2 stars for impracticality OR possibly poor quality control.

A mixed bag. Ended up returning it.
This pedal is the ultimate in love/hate relationships.-LOW output volume-lots of "bad" settings-not so many great settings.I ultimately sent it back. My biggest issue is the fuzz/distortion has that classic "pedal" sound that I can't stand. To me, the fuzz sounds like a can of marbles.
