My dog's favorite toy.
This ball makes my dog go completely bananas. He can not stop squeaking it, chasing it, tossing it. It takes a lot of abuse, smushes flat and bounces back. It is super lightweight, so not easy to toss in the wind, but it does fit in a mini chuckit wand. The only issue is with the durability of the squeaker and the seal that holds it in the ball. After a few days, I have to push the squeaker back into the ball after every few tosses. And after a couple weeks, the tiny pieces of the squeaker that create the sound tend to get mashed down and the ball becomes silent and then generally ignored by my dog. *** Important. This ball is only for small dogs. A large dog could potentially inhale this soft ball into their windpipe and choke on it. I have an 18lb rat terrier mix.

Not as pictured
I was ordering what was pictured, black & white soccer balls. What was sent though were orange & blue soccer balls. Seemingly not a big deal, but for my particular dogs it is a big deal. I have 2 Westies who ONLY will play with the small latex BLACK & WHITE soccer balls. I used to buy them at PetsMart, but they discontinued carrying them. I was thrilled when I found them at Amazon, but very disappointed when they arrived in BLUE & ORANGE. My Westies somehow know color, hard to believe but true. Except for the color, which was vital to me, the balls are great otherwise. The 1 star is because of them being a color not depicted, not poor quality.

My toothless buddy is having a"ball"!!!
This little ball was just what I was looking for. My Poodle mix, about 15 lb, was a rescue from a high-kill facility. He came in with one blind eye, two disjointed knees, and 10 missing teeth. When I realized that his favorite toys of all were balls, there was nothing I had that could fit in his mouth or that he could grasp with all his front teeth missing. I read the description of this little ball and it seemed just the right size for his mouth and so many people talked about how soft it was. Though I was hesitant, I purchased just one and he immediately took to it. He just loves the squeaker in it, he's able to grasp it and run around with it in his mouth, and his favorite pastime is chasing it. Not only does it go wherever he goes, he even remembers to bring it back inside from outside when he's playing with it. So I went back to the Amazon site and ordered from the same company a bag of these balls hoping that they're just as soft and squeaky as the first one. I do want to mention that the squeaker stopped squeaking within the first couple of days, but the ball does have an air hole in it so it will still make a noise when it's played with. It just won't be the high-pitched squeak of the original squeaker. It doesn't make him love it any less though because there is still a sound that won't drive the owner crazy, and a nice soft fun ball for small or mid-sized dog to enjoy.

Picture shows 3 balls, you only get one
My dog likes this ball, but I would not have spent that much on just one ball.

First we bought two, then three more!
We've been looking for a replacement for a now six year old latex ball that came with a very cute and boisterous cocker spaniel puppy. Now we've two cocker spaniels and after buying these balls, we now have two squeaky ball crazy dogs instead of just one.Initially I thought this ball might just be too small for the larger spaniel (25 lbs vs 20 lbs) but she -loves- them. She prefers these madly squeaking balls to her own which is about 3" so I would definitely label this a successful purchase. The smaller spaniel who seems very particular about her toys, immediately wanted this super squeaky ball and as she has a smaller maw (or muzzlepouch as we prefer) she can easily catch these balls when tossed to her and she'll squeeze them to make them squeak. For the first time ever in the two years we've had her (She's eight now, a rescue) she's actually brought one of these balls of her own volition to one of us for a game of catch.Yes, they're small and soft. All five of the ones we got were purple with green patches. I've already had to superglue a squeaker back into its slot for one ball. They are madly squeaky and the squeaking will drive you mad, especially when you find them by accident, such as rolling over one or two of them in bed, stepping on them late at night, or when your dog decides that she's bored at 3:30 am and pulls it out and chews on it. Loudly.I'm so glad we bought these and I'm going to buy a few more right now. Fair warning, I can't find more than one of these balls. They very easily roll under beds, dressers, couches, etc. But still totally worth it. Also, apparently it's now time for fuzzy, stinky kisses so I'll just buy some more of these and run off to snuggle the pups.

If you have been looking for the discontinued latax balls from Petsmart, this is it!
Very similar to the rubber balls that were used to be sold in Petsmart. This ball has been my little boy's faviorite toy since he was a little pup.Due to its unsturdy nature, my baby would go through them so quickly that we used to buy them by dozens when sold in Petsmart. We were frantically trying to locate the balls when Petsmart discontiue them. (I called around every Petsmart within the radius of 100 miles and the corporate office.)I was so thrilled to find this ball on Amazon, but the price is definitely on a higher side, especially when you include the shipping cost. However, I can't put a price tag on my boy's smile (He does really smile!- He' a bichon mix), so IThe actual color is different from what you see, but my baby does not care... so neither do I. The squeaker-whitle thingie does not last and it will stop working after a few hours. (This happened to every single ball... tested with almost 100 balls that my boy has gone through over the years.)

A single, flimsy ball
The listing lead me to believe I would receive 3 balls - but this listing is for a single ball. It is flimsy, I have a 5lb Dachshund and she ripped it into pieces in under two minutes. It has a great squeak she liked, but not worth $4+ for two minutes of play and my time cleaning up the pieces.

OUR DOG LOVES IT
It is very small and lightweight just slightly bigger than a ping pong ball, so good for a small dog.

Puppy's Favourite Ball
We have a 4.5 lb. Biewer puppy and this is her favourite ball. It has lasted for over two months of daily play and shows no sign of wear at all. The squeaker is quite loud, but I think that's why she likes it so much and we really don't mind the sound at all.

Really Disappointed This Time!
We bought this item in the past and Trixie loved it....loud squeak and nicely inflated. The last two we got - ordered separately, were not inflated, had a big flat spot where the valve is, and did not squeak at all. I can still throw them for her, but not nearly as good as one's we received in the past.WARNING: Trixie got the valve out of one of the balls....looks like that could be DANGEROUS! Not happy!
