T.H.G. 18"x 24" ACRYLIC CUTTING BOARD WITH COUNTER LIP BY JUMBL,Clear

The 16" x 24" acrylic cutting board is less of a cutting board, and more of a solid surface protector. The depth is 16", while most American kitchen countertops are between 22" - 24" in depth, so it will not go to the back / backsplash of the countertop. I can place a Dualit Toaster behind the cutting board / protector, so this works perfectly. It has worked excellently as a protector, protecting the edge of my granite countertops from my iron - pan - loving mother, with weak hand strength (i.e. a lot of pots banging on the countertop edge, causing chips, and breakage). It has not warped, and can be easily washed. The price on Amazon is less expensive than any other online retailer, and I could not find this in stores. It does NOT come with silicone or plastic bumpers, or protectors, but the round - bottom (don't use flat bottom) protectors I found from 3M / Scotch have worked well.

This is an attractive and functional product that will keep your countertop looking like NEW . It protects your countertop from spills and products that contain natural or synthetic food colors that can stain your countertops ! It will also protect your countertops from scratches and cuts from kitchen implements . This product is crystal clear and can quickly and easily be sanitized . Every kitchen should have at least one !

Very nice fit and size. Great protector for my granite around the dishwasher area. I use it to load and unload the dishes and it saves my granite from wetness and other messes. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it does slide around the countertop too easily.

I was hoping this would be a durable product. It developed had stress marks within days. It was not as durable as the one I previously owned (and was unable to remember the company it was ordered from).I finally threw it away after it cracked. I became embarrassed as to how it looked on my kitchen counter. It is not a durable product. I used cutting boards on top of it. With no "feet" it does not properly fit onto the lip of the counter and tends to slide. I would not recommend this product. I am still hoping to find a more durable replacement.

I have an old oversized (29 inches deep) wood countertop, probably ash, that is beginning to deteriorate. I tried the acrylic cutting board as sort of a stop gap measure. When all said and done, I'm installing a standard laminate counter top, and will build in behind it. The cutting board will be put to use, probably under the dish rack (no dishwasher here in the woods), or use as a base beneath coffe maker or something else.OK. The something else. As per my review, a standard laminate countertop was not deep enough for the cabinets in my kitchen, so I milled 1x4's to fit between the top of the splash guard and the wall/windows. I noticed that the "manufactured" wood of the splash guard was collecting moisture from the sink and rain if window was left open. Therefore, to find some use for the cutting board, I used a circular saw in order to make it 6 1/2 inches deep. It fits the window sill and protects the small gap where water would collect between the milled shelf and the back to the splash guard. Once again, necessity is the mother of invention.

I like the look and size was just what I needed, very handy to have and protects the counter, I keep small cutting board on it, to avoid cutting into it. Very pleased with shape and look.

My board is warped, water gets underneath it and it looks worse than if the counter top was wet. I would not recommend this for a dark colored countertop since any wetness or food items are prominent on the acrylic with a dark countertop underneath. It is large for my sink and I find I am having to wash the top everyday--much easier to just clean the countertop. I simply wanted something that would prevent the counter next to the sink from getting wet--this doesn't do that.

Sturdy and fits my camper stove top to be used for extra counter space and I can lift it up to use as a splatter guard behind my stove as I have a small window at my stove .. but I don’t use it to too close to the flame to be damaged as it is NOT heat resistant
