Eastern 30315 Catalytic Converter (Non-CARB Compliant)

To be honest I don’t know if this will help everyone But for me after quite a few years of trying to figure out why my check engine light would come on with my O2 sensors I did some research. I found out that the possibility is that my cats may be clogged or damaged to the point where they’re not doing their job. Even to the point where it could severely damage my car. These cats were a one to one fit with the stock ones that were in my 2000 crown Victoria.As for ease of installation I wouldn’t know I had taken to a mechanic shop, due to the fact that someone tried to install universal cats To the exhaust system that was already there I had to refit it back to OME standards with other parts.The parts are OK when it comes to price it’s not as expensive as buying from Advanced auto parts, AutoZone, o’Reilly’s or NAPA.

I had to twist the pipe while a bit loose to get it rotated enough to get the upper O2 sensor in place. Hole should have been placed a bit more to the inside, allowing better clearance and ease of re-install of sensor, otherwise it worked fine.

was told by auto shop that the cats are clogged. they where less then a year old. i give a big shout out to undercar experts whom i bought them from. i was send out a2 new cats and returned the defective ones. at no cost to me. THANK YOU UNDERCAR EXPERTS
