Jolly Jingles: in Precursive Letters (British English edition) (Jolly Phonics)

CD has the same jolly jingle songs child learning at school,(other jolly songs cd has different songs but still enjoys), wanted this cd so can practise jingles doing at school help memorize them. be aware that this is a very large book not the usual A4 size, but it has all the words and pictures to help with letter sounds

Great helping my 2 and 3 year old learning phonics ready for reading already have the teaching set great addition but a shame its not included in the £200 pack which is its only downfall

The front and back cover was on the wrong way round so had to put right myself! But now all fine.

Helped my sons when starting to read. The book is big and not easy to store however it does seem to help kids start to read which is the main thing.

I bought this for my daughter at home to compliment what they do at school in Reception, I can’t bare to listen to it as it is very American sounding (no offence to anyone American) but pronunciations & songs very different. Also massive disappointment the book is A3!! For use in class room great but not for home.

This book and cd is brilliant. Its really good that it is in large font and would be great to use in a class environment. The cd is really good too. I now know all of the phonics as its kept in my cd player in the car.

Catchy little jingles and such a clever way to learn the alphabet. So impressed! For those who say that some of the 'songs' aren't long enough... thery're supposed to be short and punchy 'jingles' so that the children remember them easily! Nursery rhymes are for fun and entertainment; this is a learning exercise - but is fun too!

Perfect for the pre-school I am involved with. Children relate very well to the jingles and soon learn the tunes.:)
