I have hair down past my hips. With my hair braided and wrapped around into a bun, these pins are sturdy enough to take the weight of my hair.They were perfect for my need. I will be ordering these again in the future. The arrived before the original promised delivery date. Very pleased with my purchace.

I like the large size of these pins and they don’t pull out hair. Great for 4b hair. The only problem is that the black portion started to rub off quickly. Either use better coating or leave it off entirely so it doesn’t end up in odd places.Overall, I would still re-buy them because I know of no other alternative for this size hair pin.

these are awesome.. i never even knew there were hairpins this large. they work great similar to a hair pick... & for buns etc really secure welli have already purchased more cuz i'm bad about losing things like this & don't wanna be without them !!!

These hairpins are perfect for unruly hair that needs a significant amount of discreet help to stay in place. I've been growing out my hair to see if I can manage a French twist, and now, I think I can.

These pins are HUGE! They really are 4 inches long and are sturdy and rigid. The texture of the matte finish keeps them from sliding out. If you are tired of trying to put your long thick hair up with flimsy flat pins, try these. The dark brunette color wasn’t a good color match for my hair but the pins work so well I don’t even care. Use caution when deciding on what color to order.

I really like these pins and have purchased more so that I always have them on hand. As I do sleep with my hair up each night I find that I need to use two of the pins in order to have them stay in whilst sleeping.

I have long thick hair and these can hold it up in a bun. My hair "laughs" at the hair pins they sell in stores!. The matt finish on these hold the pin in place and keep them from slipping out. I have dark brown hair and ordered the brunette color. The brunette color is a lighter brown and can be described as a medium brown.
