This was part of an anniversary present to my wife who loved it. This is not resin but solid bronze suggestive of a much more expensive item. This is quality art expected to be found in a high end museum gift shop

This sculpture is amazing. I love it. It was meant as a home decor addition but wow! I fell in love with it and my wife loves it too. My only point, and this is small issue, I wish it was bigger so that it would be more of a center piece. But I love it’s simplicity and how the figures are positioned in a way that conveys so much emotion. Like I said, I love it.

I bought this as a gift. Per the description, it was surprising to me with how small this sculpture actually is. The recipient liked it though and said she had the perfect place for this piece. It really is very small.

It was reasonably priced but it seemed smaller than I expected. It was a gift for a couple's 8th anniversary & I was hoping it would have been bigger. It shipped really quick so the disappointment was only based on my expectations and nothing the seller did.

So, first an admission... I messed up. I waited until 10 days before my anniversary to find a present for my wife. Shame on me.That said, I was in a situation where I had to find a gift that would arrive on time, which somewhat limited my options. So, I started looking at figurines, and liked the concept of "a couple's embrace". Clicked the "gimme one of those" button, and sure enough, the figurine showed up on time. Now, time for another admission... it showed up a couple of days before my anniversary, but I didn't take it out of the package until the night before. Shame on me number 2.Don't get me wrong, the product arrived in great condition, is well made, and while (as other reviewers have mentioned) it is fairly small, it is, without question, a quality item.One thing that I did not realize, however, until viewing it in person, is the posture/body position of each member of the couple that is "embracing". To put it somewhat discretely, it would seem that the woman is, uh, churning the gentleman's butter, as it were. I noticed this when I examined the item the night before my anniversary, and hoped that it was something that wouldn't be seen/noticed by anyone but me. Shame on me number 3. We can see a trend, here.Anyhow, the next day, I lovingly greeted my wife in the morning, and wished her Happy Anniversary, and presented her with this item as a token of our love. She opened the package, unwrapped the bubble wrap from around the figurine, and kind of squinted at it. $#!+, she sees it, too. By this time, I am laser focused on her reaction, hoping that she'll shake it off as some sort of illusion based on the viewing angle. To put it bluntly, NOPE.She blurted, "Is she <shucking that gentleman's corn>??" I said, no, that can't be right... the name of the figurine is "a couple's embrace"... her response was that the woman figure certainly seemed to be embracing *part of* the male figure, and that, in fact, the positioning of the male figure's right hand seems to be guiding/pushing the woman figure's head towards his... you get the idea. I hadn't even noticed that part of it, being freaked out enough by the snake handling aspect, but sure enough... if you spend some time looking at it, it sure looks like ol' boy is angling to get, uh, his lollipop licked.Needless to say, the wife was not amused, and the rest of the anniversary weekend went... well, I'm sure you can figure it out. Today is my first day back in the office since the presentation of the figurine... I'm trying not to worry too much about whether or not she's getting the locks changed before I get home.

I gave as a gift ! Do not know if they like them yet - I liked them a lot ! I was giving it as an 8th Anniversary gift - which is bronze !
