I have filled but. It used yet : I hope I don’t have to either! We live in Florida- so preparation is key because of diminished supplies when you really get to purchase them in front of impending hurricanes .

Bags showed up on time, as ordered. At this point since I have only used them outside a month I can't speak to the durability however I needed a barrier that was flexible, malleable yet sturdy enough to divert water runoff. I had tried canvas and was not able to get a good seal against the gap that needed to be closed. The bags worked great

Update....Not one drop of water got in anywhere. Pretty amazed to be honest.Thank you Hurricane Isaias for forcing me to get these and try them out. Purchased 20 to keep water from coming in at the corners of my garage and from seeping in under the side door. Better than putting a few towels down.I bought 16 bags of 50lb Sakrete playground sand (total of 800lbs of sand). Each sand bag I filled about 2/3 full (35-40lbs of sand). After I was done, I had one bag of play sand left over. To fill, I used a pickle bucket to put the empty bags in and hold them up straight while I filled them. I used a smaller bucket with the bottom cut out for a funnel for the sand. Had all 20 bags filled in an hour with no mess. Two sets of hands make this go fast. The filled bags aren't too terribly heavy to move and put in place. I filled them up and put them in 2 huge plastic bins until I was ready to put them out. The ties need to be pulled completely out and triple tied near the top of the opening, leaving some room for the sand to shift around for smushing the bags in tight. They do not tighten like a drawstring.After the storm, I plan on placing them back in those bins under the deck for storage. The lids will keep them shaded and protected until the next storm. Will update after use.

Have used them twice to transport gravel. So far so good. Sturdy and strong. The photo was taken after first use. The bag is intact.

I only just finished filling and placing them so cannot attest to their long term durability, but so far they have proved perfect for the job intended.

Bought these to block a garage door on a new house we moved into until closing the garage in for a mud room. This is also where we keep the cats little boxes. The bags tore pretty easy and spilled sand into the garage. The cats have decided they liked this little box better. They also decided that they still liked this litter box better even after cleaning up the spilt sand.The neighborhood wild cats also took to the newly established dump depot as we found “presents” left on top of the untorn bags.I now run a portapotty service for the stray cats in our town. This has caused panic when at night going to the kitchen to get a glass of Tuscan Whole Milk 1 gal, 128oz, I find our 2 cats sitting in front of the dining room full length window with between 2 and 27 cats peering back in at them and me.The cats are planning something. Their numbers have been growing. I find our cats moving stealthily during the day throughout the house when I am home at lunch. I have begun to notice electrical things missing such as phone chargers, blenders, etc. One night I even found the tv had been removed from the wall and placed in front of the window displaying just static white noise to an audience of 14 cats. My orange tabby reached over and turned it off quickly then all cats dispearsed.This never would have started if the bags hadn’t torn so easily when we were blocking our garage door.

Great bags for sand, sturdy, and perfect size. The provided ties are also super handy. Product description is spot on too, as many bags pop up in searches and one can easily end up w nice burlap bags not appropriate for sand...

Worked great! Came super fast. We use them around the house and at work when we get bad weather. The quality is nice and strong. Will buy more in the future.
