Has got to be one of the best manuals I’ve ever not-read.
I just received this product and have not used it yet. I will update this review once I get the unit up and running.I had to start this review by emphasizing that this product has one of the best manuals that I have read. (Ok, I admit it. I read the instructions!)Why? Well, about 1/4 if it covers the product details, wire diagrams, charts that depict different types of connections to battery strings, etc. This portion of the manual is really good and very concise with lots of precautions for how NOT to connect the device. They even go as far as to inform you to refrain from connecting it to a solar charge controller which I am sure is a common mistake for customers. It’s the other 3/4’s of the manual that really got my attention…They document, with great detail, HOW the inverter works and why it works. They explain the process at an engineering level yet somehow convey the information in a clear way to non-engineers.I deeply respect that someone there dedicated the time to not only write about the effects of electrical energy conversion but to then publish it at their expense. They didn’t have to include this data and information. They chose to.We all know that in this day and age, most electronics come from the big-rock-candy-mountains of China. And with most electronics being reverse engineered and repackaged with odd names, we see a lot of odd product manuals that have broken English, non-sensical diagrams and support contacts that lead you to some persons manning their keyboards on WhatsApp. So forgive me for stating the obvious but these instructions are kinda incredible. My first impressions of the device are really good. It’s sturdy, well built and comes with appropriately sized conductors that are also well made and suited for most applications.I will update this review once I set everything up and punch it in to a sub panel in my shop.

Mind blowing
Iv got the 600 watt 12volt inverter and it just keeps blowing my mind over and over again. It runs my entire home music studio with a desktop, laptop, computer speakers, a reciver amp with two large floor standing 12 inch speakers, my electric drums and my bass amp. And just when i couldnt be more pleased, this little 600 watt thing can power my ryobi drill press!! Thats insane!! Very happy. It did fail when i tried to use small wire from the battery so make sure you use wire at least as thick as what come with the unit.

It looks like it should work but idk cuz it won't work for me
Update: 2* up to 4* - it actually does work! I did have to hard wire it, which was an experience. But it works very well. It's. It a fan if you shut your car off with it still on, it will signal an alarm at you when you first crank back up, but then it goes away.I will recommend this; it works, does what I want and does it well. I would get longer cables if you're going to connect to a car battery.Don't know if mine works or not. Mine only came with cables that made it look like it was meant for attaching directly to a battery.i need this for my vehicle as i spend long hours in it and need to charge/power my gaming laptop and both the Chevy cigarette light and 110 outlet fail to output enough power to do that.Tried hooking this up to a cigarette lighter just to see if I could tell if it works but nada. Looks like I'll have to hard wire to my car battery before I find out if this will even work. Will update if I get it working.

Have had two - neither work
First one never worked, I was outside Amazon return window so I worked with their support to troubleshoot. They replaced it after I had to pay for them to ship the replacement one. Second one (replacement) works but doesn't work at loads exceeding 1,100 watts. This is with a 304ah battery with a 200 amp rated battery controller. There is no quality with this product, look elsewhere if you want something that is capable of what is advertised.

I got 17 months out of it in perfect conditions.
The inverter is not what I would call "Reliable" as it died in 17 months of pampered use. It was in a cool garage, never over 80f. I never over loaded it. The small circulation pump I had on it, with about less than 40% duty, pulls 96 watts. 1/6th of what it was rated for. Yes, nothing last forever, but I see no reason why it just died after non-abusive, regular use.

Great Inverter for the Price
Our cabin in northern Michigan is off grid. I've got 20 + years experience with battery banks, solar, generators and inverters. My first inverter all those years ago has always been my favorite. Until now. This time, I wanted a pure sine inverter that wouldn't be overly expensive. This one fits the bill nicely. I need 600 watts or less in an inverter. My testing proceedure when I got the inverter showed a couple of things. First, the power draw overhead on this 600 watt inverter is lower than I expected. With it installed at the cabin, I'm seeing a 10% less drain on the battery bank. Overall, I'm satisfied with this inverter. The voltage gauge is accurate as is the output volt meter. I'd prefer an LCD display however.

Stopped working shortly after
Originally it was working perfectly fine. But out of nowhere it now infinitely beeps and refuses to output any electricity. I checked the connections from all my wires, batteries are brand new and fully charged, etc...I (and some other experts), discovered that this inverter is simply just garbage. Do yourself a favor and stick to name-brand items in the solar market. Because after research, I found out that there's a HUGE amount of low quality, offbrand, Chinese knockoffs that basically scam you for money.

Quality Control - Overrated
Upon installing and after turning on the unit I noticed that the display was not lit. I shutdown and disconnected the unit and noticed that the screen had not been connected to the circuit board; connecting it fixed the issue. Support stated it may have come off during shipping.Customer service responded within 48 hrs to a missing spare fuse and an unexpected shutdown report after connecting a small 1400W/120V water heater. The same happened when connecting a 240V 1/2 HP pump. It kept shutting down frequently and eventually no longer maintained a load at all despite still measuring 240V. The unit also went into protective mode at less than specified parameters values. The wattage, especially the surge wattage apperas highly overrated.A spare fuse was not included but should have been. The faulty unit had to be returned.

Pure sine
I can confirm that this has a pure sine output.
