Good quality and value!
I was pleasantly impressed by the tools included in this leather kit. While I didn't have any immediate use for some of them, like the stamps, after pricing out the tools I would need this kit was an incredible deal. I'm really enjoying this product. It would make a fantastic gift for a beginner and contains danged near everything you need to get started (minus the leather).

Great Purchase for a Beginner
This has all the tools you will need to start your leather work journey! All of the materials that come in this kit have been great and very durable. Love the product and the price was great for all the tools you get!! Highly recommend!

Okay for beginners
Tool set is okay to begin with. As you use it becomes obvious that they aren't the best quality, just okay. Not as sharp as they should be, and dull quickly. But good to get an idea of what is handy for your own projects.

Nice Starter Leather Work Supplies, Tooling Tools, & punches
I’m excited to use my new new tools to make myself a few things. I haven’t worked with leather for many years so this set is a good start for me getting back into a hobby & if you have instructions on work with leather tooling, stitching, rivets, cutter, stitching hole stamps, needles, small hard pad to tool your leather on or many other tasks in leather work. Everything you need to get started on a first project or two except the leather. Appears to be good quality.

Fun to learn new things
This kit was a good value, had everything you needed to get started. I tested many tips on these wood squares and I have never done this before so can be for beginners 😃It was fun and it stores in a nice case.

Decent beginner set for the price
So, I originally bought this when I started learning how to work with and tool leather. Now that I have had some time to learn about all of the tools and have used them for various projects, I feel like it's time to write a review. I will start out by saying that this is a pretty decent starter set of tools for someone just beginning to learn the craft. With that said, as you learn and grow and hone this craft, you will find yourself purchasing additional tools that may meet your particular needs in ways that this tool kit simply cannot. It does come with a nice amount of basic stamping tools that have held up very well, a couple of diamond pricking irons of good quality, a decent and sharp swivel knife, nice waxed thread, and a good amount of daubers for dyeing. That said, one of the first things I did was purchase some additional, smaller beveling and background stamping tools because the ones included with the kit were a bit too big for the small detail work I wanted to do. The second thing I replaced was the edge beveler tool. The three exchangeable heads that are in included were awkward to use and even more awkward to strop, so they just never produced that nice clean edge that every good leather craftsman is after. Save yourself the heartache and potentially ruined projects and go buy a nice edge beveling tool from these guys: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJS43SS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The other gripe I have with this kit is the mallet, which is incredibly light, the handle likes to come loose, and the striking surfaces on either side of the head have gotten fairly dinged up from pounding on the metal tools. Again, it's okay for when you're just starting out and learning the materials, but you'll want to upgrade to a more durable mallet with urethane elements. One final thing i want to mention is that this kit does NOT contain anything to use for stropping your tools and before you know it, you're going to wind up with blunt edges that will suck the joy right out of your newfound craft. My advice to you is to go get some scrap leather strapping (any thicker veg-tanned leather scrap will work, really), get a container of Barkeeper's Friend polishing compound, and a bottle of plain old olive oil and make yourself a strop for your tools. Hope this was helpful!

Beginner set, not bad for the money
Keep in mind this is a beginner set! Knowing that, not a bad collection of tools and a good starting place for someone who is learning. The mallet is a little feeble but most of the items are usable.
