If you are a fan of Gustav Klimt's painting "The Kiss" ....
If you are a fan of Gustav Klimt's painting "The Kiss" and you like DIY Diamond Painting, you've got to check out this "YOMIA Special Shape Diamond Embroidery Portrait Diamond Painting Lady Vintage ..." kit. It appears to be an adaptation of Klimt's second most famous painting "Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I" (not to be confused with his painting "Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer II"). I have "The Kiss" as a counted cross stitch piece, and thought this one of Adele would make a lovely companion piece.The kit is well packaged. The canvas is rolled, printed side out, with the rhinestones secured inside. The canvas and stones are then placed within a clear protective sleeve. The sleeve somewhat flattens the canvas but there are no creases or damaged edges. The sleeve is then placed within a box, along with 2 tool kits (tray, pen, pink stuff, and 10 zipper bags) and a separate package for metal tweezers.There are 15 colors, so the 20 zipper bags are more than enough to store all of the stones. Most of the stones are mirror rhinestones (silver, red, red-orange, gold (3 sizes/shapes), blue (4 shades/sizes), dark green, and pink). There are two sizes and shapes of orange resin pieces, with an aurora borealis finish. Lastly, there is a packet of white resin pieces, slightly larger than your typical DIY diamond painting resin pieces.The picture is beautifully printed on the canvas (including the frame), giving you a stylized adaptation of Klimt's painting, with the addition of these beautiful "gems". The "glue field" for each rhinestone (or series of rhinestones) is just slightly larger than the corresponding rhinestones so as to minimize the amount of exposed glue when the picture has been completed.There are three measurements to be aware of. They roughly are:Canvas size: 18 1/2" x 22 1/2"Portrait with frame: 15 3/4" x 19 3/4" (this is comparable to the stated size of 40 x 50 cm)Portrait without frame: 12 1/2 x 16 1/2"Any attempt to do an adaption of this work of art as full drill DIY diamond painting would NOT do justice to it. This partial drill adaption is exquisite and just right. I haven't started it yet, but with the quality of each component of the kit, I fully expect it to be gorgeous when completed.
