Snuggle Puppy! (Boynton on Board)

My son likes puppies so i got this book for him at Christmas and he loved this book. We all enjoyed singing the book for him and the pictures are cute. I enjoy this authors books and so does our toddler. When he wanted this book read he would say “oooo puppy” because thats part of the song. He would give kisses during his book too. Just a great wholesome book that encourages love and snuggles. Get this book. He was a year and a half when we got it and it was a perfect age could have gotten it when he was younger too.

My first daughter was gifted this book as a baby and it became an instant family classic and we all love to sing the book and do fun voices to it. I have gifted it twice myself. My kids are 6 and 10 now and my husband and I still could recite the whole book without looking at it

This is my favorite Sandra Boynton book. I have read this book to all 3 of my children and even buy it for all baby showers I attend. I also give it as a baby gift to coworkers. It’s a great gender neutral book!!!!! I love that it’s a board book. It’s durable. The printing is bright. Such a cute book and one that I will hold onto forever

Oooh Snuggle Puppy of Mine... We have loved Sandra Boynton's books for years and have I Love You Little Pookie, Happy Birthday Pookie and Barnyard Dance. They are all adorable and give the message of love. We have enjoyed the Snuggle Puppy song on Spotify by Eric Stoltz, and inspired us to purchase this book. So fun!

Such a sweet book, baby girl has loved it for over a year now, got this copy for a dear friend having her first.

If you don't have Snuggle Puppy in your home library, you and your little one are really missing out. The tune is simple, it will be memorized in no time and what a sweet little song to sing to your little one, and for them to sing with you! If I had to pick a favorite Boynton on Board, Snuggle Puppy would win, no doubt about it. Just a bit of it : It starts with an OOO and it ends with a KISS ❤️ and all along the middle it goes something like this- It goes: OOO! Snuggle Puppy Of Mine Everything About You Is Especially Fine! Throughout the puppy is being snuggled, danced and kissed! This book can be read by anyone who is in a loving relationship with your little one. I only wish I'd gotten this when my little granddaughter was even younger. It would be a wonderful first book that is read/sung from the time your baby is weeks or a few months old. This book would be a wonderful shower gift to either the new parents or the grandparents. Don't think you have to be able to sing to share this book either, I've never been able to carry a tune in a bucket and that hasn't changed! My own children, as young babies would cover my mouth when I tried to sing lullabies! It's just the way the words in this book flow that make it sound like a song. My granddaughter really responds to Snuggle Puppy, it can even calm her when she is crying because she's two.

It is kinda minimalistic, that is probably why there are not many reviews written and the present rating is not flattering. One must look at it as a few lines - love poem though. It offers a beautiful ritual you can introduce into your everyday life with your child and children. Simply by reciting the few rhymes brings such a beautiful atmosphere...like celebrating the simple everyday peculiarities you are experiencing with your child...reminding you in a wonderful way to tell your child once again how much you love it. It is a gorgeous little jewel this mini poem book. Not much content...but a very essential, loving message to deliver that you shouldn't miss out on.

Love, love, love this little gem. I came across it many hears ago, and it became a bedtime ritual. Now I buy it as a gift for anyone who has little ones and to give them the love of books ( and dogs!) at a young age.
