Although this has exactly the look I was going for, it fails in other areas. It is very thin- like a sheet- with chenille on top. I would not call this a bedspread, I would call this a chenille sheet. It is also extraordinarily large. I ordered queen. I think it would be big on a king. I have to tuck it into the bedframe or we would trip on it because it puddles on the floor- on the sides and foot. It's enormous.I am using it for now, but will be looking for something else. Just glad I didn't spend very much.

Please skip over this product. Horrible quality, see-through cheap fabric, poor quality. Looks as if it wouldn’t survive a wash cycle. I have never returned an Amazon proDuct, until this one. Very disappointed.

VERY PRETTY. I really love this chenille bedspread....and it comes with two shams! It is true to size and hangs very nicely as shown in pics. Yes...it is thin but that is what I wanted. It does shed so I recommend putting it in the dryer on LOW before first use or wash in cold water and dry on low. It is 100%cotton so take care to prevent shrinkage. Not for warmth but I use it over my duvet and it’s absolutely lovely.

It looked so beautiful when I received it. It shed, but they all do - OH WAIT! - THIS ONE NEVER STOPPED SHEDDING AND NOW THE PATTERN IS SHEDDING !!! It took 3 months and 4 washings for this bedspread to show its lack of quality while my bedroom looked like the “DUST FAIRY” had invaded. We are still using a dust mop for the “White Fairies” under our bed, twice a week. Now I am finding tears! I bought this for the size, which is fantastic and the pattern, which is lovely. Too bad. My last one was from Canada and after 7 years, it is still like new, but I wanted a larger size and a lighter weight. Be careful what you wish for.

This is probably the biggest disappointment of an Amazon purchase I’ve ever made. Note to self: READ ALL REVIEWS. What appears to be a soft, luxurious bedspread in photos is in actuality so thin I can see my hand (and my sheets) through it, and the “chenille” is rough and scratchy. This not only feels stiff and looks rough - similar to what a brand new flour sack dish towel looks and feels like, but MANY of the chenille fibers are long and straggly all over the bedding and pull right out. In fact, they ALL pull right out. Nothing holds those threads in!What a disaster!

We've got high end quality washer/dryers (2 sets). When we washed/dried this spread (2x's, 2 different sets of machines) we had to call in a repair person on both because of the amount of lint that accumulated in the dryers vents/hoses. Don't let anyone tell you these spreads don't shed. And be prepared to have to take them to a washateria. The photo's you see is ~ 1/2 gallon of lint pulled out of the (previously empty) dryer vents sitting next to our phone. Fortunately we have a white rug. I know the nature of chenille, so I expected some lint, but not to this extreme. The seller needs to be clear with the buyer that it does require cleaning these spreads in a commercial machine and all will be happy. The spread does look lovely on our bed, and is perfect summer weight.

The decorative design flakes off like you would not believe! See blue pants photo. It gets on everything! The picture of the white cotton on the ground is after I washed it on delicates cycle!!!! Delicates! I can understand if it does this the first wash but it’s done this a few times now. Clogs up my dryer filter. Got in my washing machine so bad it clogged my drain! Then after I wash it, the flakes are on the next load of clothes that get washed and so forth. If I rub up against the bed, they flake off. If my baby gets on the bed with her blanket then her blanket is covered. Then they get tracked all over the house. It’s been a pain in the butt and I would never recommend this. I would gladly do a return though. Only two good things- I like the design and I like the length. That’s it. It’s a thin as a sheet like everyone says and it will cover your home with snow. Would not recommend. I hope whoever reads this ignores how cute it is and thinks about the consequences of time spent cleaning. Not worth it at all

This chenille bedspread fits an over sized queen bed extremely well. I have a bed with double mattress toppers and an ultra thick pillowtop mattress. The size of this particular spread allows the overhang to reach the floor' Great for hiding stuff that may be stored under the bed. The pattern of the chenille is subtle but very defined. Adds a somewhat Victorian look to the room. Washes well and yes there was some "fluff" in dryer following initial wash and dry. I grew up with chenille spreads and found this one to be very similar to my childhood memories. While it is not heavy it will be very comfortable for our hot Florida summers. I added a blanket for some unusually cold nights and was comfortable. the shams are large enough to accommodate standard size pillows without having that stuffed look. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and will buy this brand again.

I was looking for something like weight & not bulky so that on days I don’t want to make my bed it doesn’t take too much space!Also the size mattered as my mattress & bed are tall & most standard king bed spreads wouldn’t cover the side of the bed completely.This is relatively a thin fabric so not much heaver than a bed sheet, but has all the fuzzy patterns to make it beautiful & simple.

I was disappointed in the quality. I am not sure if it had been used before as the tag looked like it has been through the washing machine. When I washed it yellow stains appeared in certain spots also when washing on a very light cold cycle the tufts of cotton started to fall out. The size california king was perfect

Was not impressed with this quilt for the price. It may be fine for staging homes with but certainly it would not be warm enough for ‘all seasons’. Would not recommend if wanting to use every day.

I love this. But it has torn in 4 different places. I’v never had a blanket tear before. But it is incredibly thin.

I really like it but, I would have liked it a bit more fuller fluffier design, if this is what you also prefer, then go for a more expensive one, I would next time. It does look nice.
