STEM Training Guide Book: Guide book for teachers, educators, homeschoolers and parents who want to get started on STEM teaching Paperback – February 8, 2019

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The goal of STEM learning and activities is to encourage and teach children these valuable skills at a young age. This STEM handbook is a great way to start.As a ‘pre-mom’ (not pregnant or trying at the moment), I’ve been researching different teaching methods and programs available to help my future children succeed. I also have several close friends who are in this stage of life. This book helps to explain STEM in the simplest of terms, all while being visibly appealing.This handbook follows the format that the children’s workbooks contain. It’s a clean format and the visual graphs are easy to understand. This is the most forward and to-the-point book about this topic for the parents.I highly recommend.

This book was interesting. As a grandparent I look at different ways of educational tools that my children may use to teach their children in a homeschool environment.

As a new STEM teacher, I was hoping for a more in-depth teaching guidebook. The first half of the book's already-slim 52 pages is spent talking about why STEAM is awesome and we should totally have more of it. I already agree with that. The author's paid subscription website and other books were promoted often, but there wasn't any reference to other good reading material in the field. The last half of the book had some useful general principles, such as using the Engineering Design Process and tips for adding STEM to existing lessons, but I was hoping for some more concrete examples and discussion of things like:* How do I integrate science concepts into engineering challenges?* How can I obtain construction materials for 600 students economically?* How can I make lessons appeal to all kinds of different people, not just people already interested in STEM?* What research has been done on best-practices for STEM education?* How should a teacher form groups for success in STEM projects?

Waste of money. Did not give good information, only kept referring to the website and products.

I am a STEM educator and was looking for some useful tips regarding how to set up STEM clubs in my locality ( my children’s school and our public library) so when I came across “STEM Training Guide Book” during my research, I found it very helpful. It’s has insight to everything that I was looking for, starting from how to get funding, find resources, and how to create awesome excitement engaging programs. There are many books on STEM activities in the market but very few book on how to set up the STEM clubs for educators and this is the best book I have read by far in this category. STEM-Training guide book is a wholesome collection of all the necessary things you need to know about how to make STEM education a part of your curriculum easily and effectively.

If you are going to create reading material make sure that you have all your commas and spaces in the right places! Stem is a creative learning method which helps kids to discover their talents in doing fun and practical science projects. I read few books from Sumita, even her stories encourages kids to be creative and activate their brain.
