This ankle weights are awesome. My ankles measure: 9 inches in circumference and this ankle weights wrap around my ankles perfectly which is a problem I've had with other brands I've tried like: Nayoya, Shoung, and Kylin Sports. These other brands had skinny straps which have less support for ankle weights heavier than 1 pound each and to top it off, they didn't wrap around the ankles. This yes4all ankle weights wrap around the ankle, have wider straps for extra support and the material is soft & good on bare skin

The problem with the ankle weights is the material portion of the weights are too lengthy. When you try and snug the weights tight...the "body" of the weights gets sucked into the metal ring that you loop the strap around. This prevents you from snugging the straps tight. They should have been great....but they missed the mark.

These 2 lb. weights I ordered are proving to be the best designed weights I've had--they are so comfortable, and they fit very securely. Previous weights were typically designed with just the one small area of velcro flap that closes around the ankle, compared to the weights they hold...but I've ended up having to sew one of the pieces back on to try to extend their life. Not so with these! The long pieces of velcro glide through a metal bar very easily and the area they hold onto is so extensive, that they aren't going anywhere! :) They can be adjusted so nothing shifts around on your ankle, and so soft that I don't even think about it. I highly recommend them!

I received the pair at my work. I was psyched. The first leg, was ok; sort of loose, but I was gonna suck it up. Then I tried the other leg. Buckle malfunctioning. As I pulled the strap, the buckle would get crooked and the strap sort of twisting. Also, malfunctioning foot, had long black stains ~ along with white scuff marks on the velcro strap.With respect to packaging, the corners of the box were torn and not taped.

These serve their purpose well. They could be so much better with a couple of simple design changes. Having to work out from home these days, I use these on my wrists in place of 5 lb. dumbbell weight increments. They work ok for that but unless you have large wrists they’re a little loose. Simply moving the placement of the sewn on straps would remedy that to allow a wider range of fit. Also, these make your skin sweat like crazy underneath them. I suspect this will soon deteriorate the synthetic covering. Lining these with terry cloth would easily fix that. To address both issues, I’m going to try putting a folded washcloth under each one when wearing around my wrists.

This is very comfortable to wear. I don't recommend it for someone with super thick ankles, though. Its best for women with med/sm ankles.

I read descriptions and reviews to find weights where the velcro strap did not rub my ankle. There is an extension of the neoprene under the strap that protects skin. The two ends of the just meet on my ankle.My only negative comment is that the “weight” is not marked anywhere. I will not remember that lime green equals three pounds so 8 used a sharpie to mark the weight.

I am happy with these. only complaint I have is that...I do wish they would become slightly smaller. Had wrist and elbow surgery and am using them to build up my arm muscles. I don't consider my wrist that tiny...but i really have to pull these tight for them to fit and to stay on my wrist. They are fine on my ankles. Comfortable.
