Molton Brown Mesmerising Gold Hand Lotion

I have been using Molton Brown products (including shampoo and conditioner) for more years than I can remember!This one is my all-time favorite! I have this scent in both the hand wash gel and hand lotion (and just bought the shower gel).It's in my downstairs powder room, only bc the brown color of the bottles matches the other colors in it.The other 3 bathrooms are different colors and I have other fragrances (that match and I like the smell of!) also by this company.I have tried a few different brands in the same price range that don't even come close to these!In particular, the Oudh, Accord, Gold lasts long after applying it.The hand wash is not a foam, and it both cleanses without drying out your hands.Add the hand lotion to give yourself even more, long-lasting moisture that will last until you wash it off!NONE of their products are greasy and oily! (i.e. they won't stain your sheets in bed)!The scent is very hard to describe to someone who isn't familiar with the fragrance notes in it. It's a unisex smell limo, and is sexy!It's exotic and alluring, not overly sweet or overly ‘woody’, ‘spicy’. I can only describe it as ‘luscious’ and luxurious!For what you get, I don't think it's overpriced at all, as some reviews stated. It's not a ‘mediocre’ product, it's not a knock-off, it doesn't wear off or leave your your hands ‘dry’, it does have a noticeable smell, and I could go on and on - without any negative comments!I'm a 66 year old female and live alone, and I do purchase products that I enjoy using or having, without skimping on the price.But with this one, I always get compliments when anyone is here and uses it (since it's in the downstairs powder room)!For the purpose of this review of this fragrance...I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent hand wash and hand lotion, plus the body lotion is just as wonderful (which I do have in my master bathroom, even though it doesn't match the colors, lol!).*** Since I buy items that are not familiar to me based on the reviews of others, if you find this to be helpful, please mark it as such for future reference, thanks!

I love this lotion. Makes me feel so clean and expensive

Strong fragrances seem to be the selling point. That, and the cache of a buying a "premium brand."But these products are functionally inferior to even store-brand products. The hand soap works okay, but the moisturizer does not.

Der Geruch selbst ist natürlich Geschmacksache (ich finde ihn gut) aber er ist viel zu stark für eine Handcreme. Das wird dann richtig unangenehm und irgendwann wäscht man es ab, nicht Sinn der Sache. Wollte mich eigentlich dazu motivieren, die Hände mehr einzucremen, das hat nicht geklappt. Ich glaube dass das viele Parfum auch nicht gut für empfindliche/offene/wunde oder ekzemanfällig Haut ist, also doppelt falsch. Für Leute mit schlechtem Geruchssinn aber wohl perfekt

Reminds me of Youth Dew, the estee lauder perfume which my mum used to wear. The intensity of the smell wears off quite quickly and leaves behind the gentler aroma of vetiver. Absorbs quickly and my skin feels good once the handcream is applied. You don't need very much to feel nicely moisturised.

Bought online so the fabulous fragrance was a pleasant extra. Good quality cream
