This is for the 4" cleats. I bought them to use with paracord to hang ham radio antennas. They are very nicely finished and as a long time sailor as well, a very good value.

I purchased the 6" cleats. They are great. Mirrored finish seams to be pretty durable so far. Not awkward to use like some cleats. It has all the right clearances and contours.Mounting hardware is all correct for the application. Base of the cleat is sized appropriately to be sturdy, even in an aluminum boat.

Fortunately, Or unfortunately, I No longer own a boat, but still feel nautically inclined. After buying a new side table with drawers that came with some generic looking round knob pulls, I decided to enhance the appearance of the piece by substituting these cleats in the role of nautical drawer pulls! Simply drilled a couple new holes, mounted these cleats and they almost bring the Sea air into the living room!Shiny stainless steel and built for a dockside life, I'm sure they'll last longer than the table the now adorn.

Beware! Bolts included are too large in diameter and do not fit the holes in the cleat
