Antica Farmacista Scented Candle, Prosecco, 9 Oz

Scent fills the room quickly and the candle lasts a long time.

Prosecco smell was overwhelmingly sweet and candle was smoky. Horribly high price. Wont buy this label again.

The Antica Farmacista scented candle in the scent Prosecco is a candle version of Antica Farmacista fragrance line. Antica Farmacista is a home fragrance company founded in 2003 by two friends that strive to define luxury home fragrances. The Prosecco 9 oz candle arrived in a luxury black box that was slightly dented on the sides which suggested that it was not handled with care before transport. It also came with a decorative box of matches. I really like the added touch of matches. I smell the juicy passionfruit, apricot, and black currant in the Prosecco candle. It is a heavily fragranced candle that is perfect for a powder room or bedroom. The scent devours the environment creating a new environment of its own. This candle is a good choice for someone who is familiar with Antica Farmicista fragrances. Aside from the brand itself, the candle is of high quality and smells luxurious. It is not easily mistaken that this candle is a premium candle both by appearances and scent. I think that this is a nice choice for a luxury candle and it would make a good gift item as long as the outward packaging is better kept than what I received.

This "prosecco" scented candle has been poured into a white hexagonal glass holder. The glass measures 3.5" high x 3.5" wide, with the candle wax itself slightly below the top. In a nice touch, the company includes a box of wooden matches, housed in an Antica Farmacista labeled box. The scent is light and fresh, although I cannot connect the smell of prosecco with it. The only thing I don't like about this candle is the indentation in the glass with the Antica Farmacista label firmly affixed. This candle is , on many levels, made to be shown, and the seemingly unremovable label makes that undesirable. Branding like that does not belong on candles.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

There is no way to describe how fabulous this scented candle smells. It is heavenly – and clean – and pure. Don’t laugh because I’m waxing poetic, this product needs praise. I’ve never smelled a candle that made me so nostalgic. It reminds me of hugs from my grandma. Maybe it’s the prosecco. Granny was known to sip the bubbly.In all honesty, this candle is a step beyond the norm. It’s fresh and a little fruity with je ne sais quoi – the ability to remind you of good times. This candle is at the very high end of what I’d find affordable but you get about 60-hours of pleasure. I love it that much and I’m a very frugal lady. But the heart wants what the heart wants.

The candle comes in a beautiful thick frosted glass container, six-sided hexagon shape. This would make a lovely Mother’s Day, Bridal party gift, or a splurge for yourself.

I got this scent through the box. IT is not overpowering, just sweet and so so nice.I love the pretty container and the wonderful scent. It burns reasonably slow too - just had a candle that burned so fast it was very annoying!! This one is a nice slow burn!

This Prosecco scented candle surprised me. The cold smell was nice, but not super impressive or strong. After burning for about 30 minutes, I was disappointed that I still wasn’t getting a great scent in the room. But shortly after that it really came alive. Soon the whole room smelled wonderful and it even spread to the upstairs loft. The flame burns consistently and doesn’t flicker or spit like some brands. I’ve also been surprised at how long-lasting it is. I’ve been burning this in my home office for a few hours each evening for several weeks and it looks almost new. I will definitely be back for more!
