Our mosquito net offers that and more: a set of spreader bars provides elbow room and a comfortable space for you to hang. The integrated, stake-compatible floor gives your pack, boots, and even your trusty pooch a place to call a bug-free hammock home.

Great for me and the dog!
It's lived up to just about all expectations so far. Setting up takes a few times to get down correctly but it works very well. The flooring is not waterproof but a cheap 5x7 lightweight tarp from outdoor products fixes that. Kept the onslaught of wave after wave of scores of mosquitoes, flies, ants and spiders in Dolly Sods, West Virginia from bothering me in my sleep. Was nice to have a bug free escape and wake up knowing that myself and my dog were not going to be eaten alive all night by bugs looking for a blood meal. Fit my 90L pack at one end and my 50lb dog at the other end inside with lots of space to spare on the floor. No internal loops or string but that's easily fixed with a ridgeline hung inside. Does not come with ground stakes but I have more than I'll ever need so that didn't inconvenience me. I am only giving this 4 stars and not 5 because most of this is constructed with only single stitched seams and does not look as though it will be as durable in the long run as I would like. I may go over it with the sewing machine for added strength.

A different option from a standard bug net.
This is about the same price as the smaller bug nets that cocoon the hammock, and offers a larger alternative. It requires more effort to set up. If you use a ridgeline for hanging small items on, you will want a 2nd one for this net positioned higher to "fill it out" accordingly. However, you certainly could get by resting it on the standard ridgeline, you would just lose some vertical space. The surprisingly useful feature is the floor. It leaves a lot of room to throw gear and keep it dry from water on the ground. On my last motorcycle camping trip with it, there was a half day of rain ...the tarp obviously keeps things protected, but once on the ground, the water ran and pooled underneath and around the hammock in small puddles. Water did not penetrate the floor at all which surprised me. Aside from protecting things from a wet ground, it will keep bugs out of gear/clothing, etc.I do wish the zipper was a little taller. I'm 6'2" and you do need to crouch and sort of squeeze your way in through the opening. Once in, you can move about freely. If i'ts staked down tightly, the zippered opening has very little slack. And I'd also prefer the mesh material to be gray or black. The white really stands out and makes your hammock area look like a little.....er, princess-ey? Minor complaint of course, purely aesthetics. The mesh material is fairly substantial (it "folds" or "rolls" rather than "squishes" if that makes sense) which increases the pack size. It packs to the size of about two nylon double hammocks. For backpackers, this might be too large where space is a premium but for car, motorcycle, or backyard camping, it's fine. Note that it will limit how high you can hang the hammock - if you want the floor to remain on the ground. I suppose you could just let it hang loosely, or lash it down with some cord so the floor "floats."I think it's a good value, and has worked well for me. It's always better to hang without a net, but sometimes the little biters require otherwise.

Great for spacious bug protection, if your willing to sacrifice dove in your bag for it
Only set up once so far, a little bigger when packed up than other options but that is expected for what you get, no difficulties setting up at all, very spacious , when not staked into something it can blow around a bit but still works and seems pretty nifty I'll get a lot of use out of it!

If you have a hammock, you NEED THIS NET!
This is a fantastic piece of gear with incredible flexibility to rig for many different hangs and situations. It's just a little too big for how I like to deploy it, but I gather/roll the netting at the ends along my straps to take up slack. Therefore its MUCH better than if it were too small - like the others I tried and sent back. You can easily lay on the diagonal in a double with an underquilt, and still have room to sit with feet on the ground, bring your gear in on the floor with you, stand up, change clothes, reach gear hanging at the ends of your hammock, and then just watch the bugs get frustrated. It dries quickly too. I prefer to use an extended trek pole centered/hanging close under my ridgeline when sitting in the recliner postion to get more space around my shoulders, instead of their short poles. If I were going to improve it, I'd make it a tan color and widen the bottom floor panel in the middle kinda like a slight diamond shape to have more room to stand and avoid stepping on the netting. And I'd put it in a small compression sack instead of a drawstring stuff sack, as it will compress some and it would be smaller in my pack. I like to use a seat cushion from my kayak on the floor to stand on and protect my feet from any rocks or sticks under the panel. Lastly - I never stake down the bottom panel when used with my hammock. I want it to move around a little as needed rather than pulling on a sewn tab fixed to a stake when I shift things around some to either side of the hammock. If it were slightly wider in the middle, then staking it down might make more sense to me.

See ya bugs!
I used my mosquito net for the first time this weekend, and I love it! Previously, I have slept in jungle hammocks with the mosquito netting already attached. I liked this option much better. The net is nice and roomy thanks to the two spreader bars. I feel claustrophobic when the net is too close to me, and this was perfect. The floor is nice as well. You just step in and get into your hammock. It was easy to setup and tear down. Definitely a good purchase!

Does the job, but is fairly bulky and heavy for backpacking.
Great bug net that provides a lot of space. It is quite bulky and heavy to pack however, so be aware if you are backpacking somewhere with difficult terrain. I got into hammock camping in part due to the comfort, and in part have more options for spots to camp. When I first got started, I imagined that hammock camping would be lighter weight, but it really isn't. If you combine this net, with a rain tarp, under-quilt, hammock, and gear to hang your hammock, you are probably looking at equal weight to a tent, and perhaps even more volume than a tent.

Great product, grand trunk is awesome!
This is an excellent and very roomy insect thwarting net. It's great for tall guys like myself, at 6'7" a hammock is just about my only practical sleeping option. My only complaint and it's a minor one is that this net traps heat and moisture. Prepare to be a bit too warm in summer.

Solides Moskito-Netz
