Very useful
Very clear and easy to use. Study material, should hold up well to field use. Missing a few common species but very comprehensive for such a compact guide

Not the Most detailed Field Guide, but they fit the bill in the field !
This brochure type guide is not the most detailed, but if you are in a boat, hiking along the shore or on a dock next to water, this waterproof guide is a quick way to make general identifications of common wildlife found in a normal pond. Clear pictures with names and general markings, this guide enables the beginning naturalist to do a general identification, so later they can look up for more detail using other more detailed field guides. I personally use these types of references for prep before an outing. Clear, compact, inexpensive, light weight, easy to use, and having the ability to resist water these brochure guides are a gateway to bigger better guides. Fun to use for kids, too!!

LOVE IT!
Perfect resource when out in the woods, they are waterproof so they won't get ruined. Store easily in my pack. There is so much information on this one card is unreal.

BRITS BEWARE!
What a disappointment! Not a book, but a laminated card, and not about British/European species but American ones! At least it didn't cost me too much...Several years later: it's gone shooting up in price!

Great for residents of the US not the UK
I bought this book for my boyfriend only to find that it is only suitable for ponds in the US this should've been made clear when purchasing the book.
