This helmet saved my wife.
Your helmet saved my wife's life. She was involved in a accident on a bike were a vehicle traveling @ 50+mph struck her from behind and ejected her 40 feet. She did receive a traumatic brain injury from the incident, but she has made good recovery and continues to do so. If it were not for your helmet God only knows how much injury her head would have sustained. Thank you so much for selling this product.

SAVED MY MELON
I would give this helmet 50 stars if i could. I was riding my bike on side walk. There was a tree limb hanging over side walk. I ducked a bit to avoid the limb and was clotheslined by a power pole support cable. The cable hit me across side of helmet knocking me backwards off bike. I landed on me hip and the back of my head whipped back and hit side walk extremely hard.i walked away without even a concussion. Had a bit of head ache that night and that was all. This helment did its job extremely well. More than satisfied.

Great for big heads!
So I have a very large head. Unusually large, like they thought I had a serious illness as an infant because it was so big. I have a lot of trouble finding helmets as a result. I wanted a bike helmet that was skate style because I wanted the extra protection at the back of the head, and I've found bike helmets are hard to find a good fit on my head because they ride up higher.I had to remove almost all of the fit padding (and peel off the velcro dots) and actually cut down the padding that remained so there was just a strip around the edge (it's about an inch to an inch and a half thick), to get it to fit my head properly without squeezing so tightly it hurt. But once I did so, it fit great. With no padding it was even a little bit loose, so I think this would even work for people whose heads are a little bit larger than mine (I wear a size 8 hat). I do wish the manufacturer would include thinner padding with it as an option.Anyway, seems like a great helmet, nice and thick energy absorbing material, compared to other helmets in this price range I'm comfortable it will provide good protection!

I have a big head
I first bought one of the other popular helmets that had a large sizing a little over 23 inches. That was the biggest I could buy in that type helmet. My head size is a little over 23 inches and it had an adjustable head band so I figured it would be ok. It ended up being way too tight. Searched again for a helmet, this time looking for the largest size I could find. This helmet is listed at a large size of over 24 inches but doesn’t have an adjustable headband, which concerned me. Bought the helmet and it fit perfectly! If your head size is 23 or more I highly recommend getting this helmet. Had my first hour of inline skating practice yesterday and I didn’t even know I had it on. Very comfortable and a great fit. Well made and well worth the money.

Big & sturdy with fair to good fitting options
Do not know for sure and do not want to find out for certain but it appears to provide higher order head protection while also having multiple inserts to customize the fit. Good non slipping chin strap. Fit for larger heads is problematic, seems to be "oriental limited" rather than having a size for full size adult males. Having a fair amount of experience and hard won observations and opinions regarding motor vehicle & racing safety gear I very much prefer a relatively tight fit for helmets (If you can't joke about it giving a squirrel a headache your using something TOO LOOSE). This provides such a tight fit for me but the largest size (the one which I purchased) is going to be too small for many over about U.S. size 7-1/2 to 7-3/4.

When in doubt, size down
Great helmet that I bought to start roller skating.Recommendation: When in doubt, size down. My measurements were right on the cusp between M and L. I get headaches easily so I got the L to keep from squeezing my head. It fits well enough with the included thicker padding, but I could have easily and comfortably gotten a medium for a more secure fit.

Average
Came scratched out of box. The package is very weak. It seems very easy to scratch, too.The head diameter fits fine, so the size should be right, but it does not cover much of my head. It only covers half of my forehead, too. I think it should be a bit deeper, so it wouldn't look funny. The strap on right can be manipulated so that my pierced ear would not touch the straps, but the left cannot be manipulated, and is short. It bothers my left ear.Because it is so easy to be scratched, I am thinking of painting it. The white color also makes it easier to customize.I originally ordered small, according to the measurement I took, and it seems the size runs slightly small. The think foam does make it look extra bulky, but hopefully it allows more safety. I wish all colors were in stock for all sizes.

Comically large shell.
I recently began riding BMX bikes and wanted a helmet that was more in line with the look of BMX and skateboarding than commuter or mountain biking. This helmet is not the smaller style shell I was hoping for. In fact, this has got to the biggest helmet shell I have ever worn, suitable for variety show challenges. Make no mistake, I am sure it will protect my melon fabulously if need be, but this shell is just ridiculously large. It definitely gives off more of a middle-aged-downtown-commuter-on-an-upright-bike persona than a BMXer. On the plus side, it’s comfortable and comes with two sets of foam inserts. The airflow is also good. But man, I just can’t get over the mushroom cap it turns my head into.
