This is a beautiful, spiritual album. Chandrika Tandon's voice is stunning and evocative. This is the first of her albums that I've had the pleasure of hearing and I'm simply speechless. Bravo!

One of my students just turned in a research paper investigating what affects our musical tastes. One thing she found was that psychologists say it's not so much loving classical music that necessarily shows an evolved taste--it's listening to an eclectic variety of music! This reminded me of Tandon's "The Quest," which I streamed through Amazon Prime. Sacred music aficionados will recognize certain hymns (sung beautifully here, sometimes with epic arrangements), but there is a great breadth of style here; you'll find a big band tune, for instance! This is a visionary vocalist.

I was truly fortunate to receive an advance copy of Shivoham - The Quest and I was completely enthralled by this amazing three disc set!From the very opening 'Aums' stacked in perfect harmony through Chandrika's gorgeous voice to the complex and rich orchestrations, this is a music set to re-visit again and again on our journey towards awakening and self knowledge. Shivoham means 'I am Shiva' or pure consciousness. Let this remarkable album help to reveal this deep knowing within you!

I listen to a lot of 'world music' and what struck me was how this album blended so many cultures, traditions, and movements together. It really feels like it comes from all over. Great rhythms and melodies. Must've been a herculean effort. I hadn't previously heard Chandrika Tandon's music-- would definitely recommend!

This is a very powerful spiritual song that I love. Been listening to these vedic hymns for a long time and love them for the meaning they convey. However, listening to them in Chandrika's voice and music is amazing powerful. Is part of my playlist now.
