MORTY THE KNIFE MAN Shrimp Peeler, 1 EA

I used to sell these shrimp tools when I did cooking demonstrations for the seafood company I worked for overseas (and everyone who saw it in use wanted one!). Mine broke after 20 years of use & I had to replace it. It does take a bit of time to get the technique right (as I learned when I got some of my staff to help me peel 20# of shrimp the other day), but once you've got it, it works really well and is an incredible time saver.

Received the shrimp peeler and deveiner as ordered. Arrived quickly. Have not had any shrimp to peel, as of now, but it is VERY similar to the one I borrowed from my neighbor and it worked perfectly! I know this tool will reduce the time and effort to devein and peel shrimp by a factor of three to one, that means one third the time as required to do it by hand. Thanks!!Joe Zimmerman

This tool is so handy and effective. If one has small children or ones who have varying interest in peeling shrimp at the table, a pound or two of shrimp can be peeled and deveined in a flash. Scampi or stir fry or any number of interesting recipes quickly become more accessible--and from shrimp that hasn't passed through a factory and been processed in Whoknowswhere-istan!

Now I have to get some more shrimps!

Great to have when you have a lot of shrimp to clean and prepare to cook, especially around the holidays.

Nice idea however i broke it 5 minutes out of the box, I was taking it apart to see how to clean it. The manufacturer supplied no directions and it seemed simple enough again I separated the parts and upon reassembling the blade popped out and there was no way to fix. at least amazon accepts returns

I bought one of these years ago for cleaning shrimp. They do a great job deveining and shelling shrimp.

If you must clean shrimp by hand, this is the best tool. Quick, easy to use, suitable material for the task. I've bought this for others in my family, too.
