"The Reticent Full Grain Leather Guitar Strap For Electric, Acoustic, and Bass Guitars (3", Whiskey Brown)

Solid leather strap comfortable, and well made. As a bass player a strap is important. Originally purchased the 3" Whiskey Brown strap. After spending a full year of gigging in summer heat the strap proved its worth. Decided to purchase a second one in another color, 3" Aged Steel now I have two great straps that'll last a long time. Couldn't be happier with the worn look of the leather, quality and the comfort.

This is now my 3rd strap by Anthology Gear. I get a new guitar, the first thing I do is get a new strap by them. The quality and customer service is outstanding. You will not be disappointed!

I liked the first Reticent strap (2" in Whiskey Brown) I bought so much that I bought this 3" Aged Steel for my bass. These straps are sturdy and strong but not stiff. They look great. They are comfortable. I don't see a need to use another strap company.

This is a very well made premium leather strap. It's a little stiff at the moment but is already beginning to "break in" as quality leather tends to do. It secures well at both connections on my bass and gives me plenty of confidence while playing. I'd have no hesitation in recommending it or ordering another in the future.

High quality and appears hand made. Nice leather that softens with use and a little leather lotion. Almost immediately bought an even higher priced one from Anthology

I needed a better strap than the one I was using and wanted a quality leather strap. I stumbled across this brand on the TalkBass.com forum and was very interested. I looked and saw what I liked, and that they also offer an extension to make it longer, so I ordered the Reticent. It's an outstanding strap that looks and feels great. I haven't had a chance to try it for an extended amount of time, just an hour at a time, but it feels great and distributes the weight of the bass nicely. I liked it so much I ordered the Straight Up model for another/heavier bass. Those that have seen it, and tried the bass with strap on it, were very impressed and want to see what the Straight Up does with my heavier bass, a Lakland 44-62. I have no problem recommending this strap and wish I would've come across Anthology sooner. Well done !!!

I ended up buying 3 of them after using the 1st one on my 87 Les Paul Custom.

Love the fact that the belt is all authentic leather and will age beautifully!
