The best needles I've ever used
These needles are a dream to work with. I have the Clover Tatumi bamboo interchangeable needles, and they have served me well, but the cords on those are awful to work the magic loop method with. I ordered a single ChiaoGoo red lace circular needle to try, and was amazed at the difference. The yarn slides so easily over these, yet not so much that the stitches slip off. I can't believe how easily the pointy (but not too pointy) tips slide under each loop. I didn't realize how much I struggle with that. The joins stay firmly attached (if you use the tightening t-pin) and don't cause any snagging at all. The cords behave themselves and don't hold a memory (WONDERFUL!!) The case is darling and fits nicely in my little knitting bags https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DUS2ZWO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . There is a zippered pocket on the front to hold the cords, the needle size guide (with ruler--love that!), the tools, and the stitch markers--all included! There are 2 rows of pockets for each needle size, so if I want to get the 5" needle tips, I can just slide them right in. I love that all the tips and cords are sold separately, and that the spin and twist brands are all interchangeable. Excellent set, and highly recommended!

I mean, It's Chiao Goo, enough said.
Although you have to want the metal needles, this needle set is superior and has THE BEST INNOVATIVE CABLE in it's class, and all around. Nice sharp, not razor sharp, but comfortable enough to feel in control of your work. A nice slippery glide with Surgical Steel and NOT ALUMINUM (yay). There are other brands bringing in new cables that try to compare to ChiaoGoo. ChiaoGoo is named ChiaoGoo for a reason. THEY'RE GREAT, SUPERIOR AND IN A CLASS by themself . Also, their Bamboo needles, which are strong and indeed pointy, are also top notch.

The best interchangeable set for me
I have now had 3 brands of interchangeable needles. The first was cheap and awful (Boye), but I got enough use out of it to realize the benefits of that level flexibility for cord length especially. The second brand was more expensive than the first and better quality (Addi), but I lost some pieces and cannot find replacements. I also didn't care for the joins because my stitches would bunch and I had to stop and push them up. A friend highly recommended the Chia Goo brand. I debated about which set would best suit me. I don't often use the larger sizes so I opted out of both the complete set and the set that had size 9+. The next decision was longs or shorts. I sometimes knit smaller objects in the round so went with the shorts. I find that if you use the key when assembling your needles to tighten the join, you should't have problems. People who neglect to do this will have joins come undone at times, which can result in dropped stitches, and no one wants that. I worried that since I knit left-handed, the key system would pose problems because of how I hold and move my hands. I worry because most things are designed for right-handed use. So far this has not been a real issue. The joins have maintained their stabilty. Knitting is smooth and fast--no join snags and the finish on the needles is nice for confident, fast knitters. No matter which set you choose, I don't feel you can go wrong with Chia Goo brand. I am very satisfied with mine.

Wonderful interchangeable needles
I am absolutely in love with the chiaogoo needles. The small 4 inch set comes with 4 inch tips in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. It includes 2 small diameter 8 inch cables (to make 16 inch circulars), a small pack of stitch markers, 2 keys, 2 end stoppers, a gauge ruler and a cable connector. These are the lace tips, so they have a sharper tip and a longer taper - excellent for k2togs and doing things through the back loop.Separately, I ordered the 22 and 30 inch cables so I could make larger circulars, including a magic loop for small diameter things. The cables are beautiful - hardly any memory, soft and pliable and the joins are smooth with no snagging by my yarns. The case it all comes in has space to add the other, larger tips. Sizes 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13 and 15 are all available sold separately to finish the set off. You can also spend the extra money to get the full set, but I rarely use the larger needle sizes since most of my work is done with fingering and lace weight yarns.I highly recommend this set.

Wonderful interchangeable needle set
The ChiaoGoo circular needles are my favorites. After collecting several fixed length needles, I made the decision to purchase an interchangeable set and I have been quite happy with these. Their needle tips are smooth and comfortable to handle and the connections are very smooth and secure. Being able to use all the different cable lengths gives a wealth of options. The case that these come in is quite nice, with individual spaces for the needles that are marked with each size, making it easy to quickly choose the size tip you are looking for. It also has a zippered pouch on the outside that is great for holding cables and a few accessories. The entire set is lightweight and easy to carry. I especially love that it keeps everything organized and compact (a big difference from my gaggle of fixed needles). Highly recommend!
