How to Create a Website: A Step By Step Guide to Start Your Own Personal Website(Easy!)

The information is excellent in the "how-to-book, " but like all screen shots in a print version are very difficult to read. Ten years ago, I took classes in HTML & Deamweaver (don't remember much), but am back trying to do things on my own with limited income to offset web costs. I do wish Wordpress and several of the others webhosts had a place for novices to make practice runs before hitting the big time. This book looks like a draft that was self published. No formatting, blurry screen shots, and useless procedures. Look elsewhere for documentation.

The book was informative for scratching the surface but didn't provide any information that you couldn't find in the WordPress website. This is not a good guide if you are building from scratch.

I discovered this book advantageous in planning my first site. I quick connected the strategies and have now discharged my first site. Being a beginner this evaluation by evaluation way changed into pleasantly arranged and smooth to pursue. This was a clean look at.

Very basic and of limited scope.

I like this authors initiative. However, the title should be "How to Build a Website Using WordPress".On the good side, very large text. On the other side, anyone wanting to use "complicated HTML of any other complex code that would otherwise look gibberish" (quote from the book) will be very disappointed.

This book appears to be aimed at beginners. There is a lot of sound information. However the book is riddled with typos and incorrect line breaks which impacts its credibility, begging the question, if the author can't be bothered to get the basics right, how good is the material? So far as it goes the material is actually pretty good. However I found it a bit heavy going.
