Living Proof Color Care Shampoo

Pleasant-smelling hair products are so common these days! I expect it now.This one does not smell good.I love the Living Proof hair products - I usually buy from the Restore and Perfect Hair Day series. All products from both those series smell fairly good! Idk what happened when they made this shampoo. In terms of color preservation/performance - there's nothing spectacular about this one. So no trade off in performance, to make up for the eh chemical smell.Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Shampoo performs as well as this one, if not better, in terms of color-safety - and also smells good. I use Perfect Hair Day shampoo and Living Proof Restore conditioner to follow for moisture. I wouldn't buy the Color Care shampoo or conditioner again.

This shampoo has given me the best color protection. Even with the darkest blue/purple shampoos my hair gets brassy within a few weeks after a color. This shampoo doesn’t make my hair gray/purple at the ends. My only issue is this shampoo/conditioner makes my hair oily. I can’t get away with missing a day of washing it. I’m still using it and doubling up on the dry shampoo between washes

It’s the real deal in case anyone is wondering. Smells like a floral Perfume (love it btw just a very nice smell). The shampoo lathers well and it doesn’t seem to be drying my scalp.I also appreciate the color protection as I’m constantly dying my hair and trying to preserve the color.The bottle is small and I do wish it was bigger, however with salon grade products it’s always expensive and not much :/

I have coarse, thick and wavy hair. Living Proof is great for my hair. I absolutely love the color care shampoo and conditioner. Smells amazing!

I like the way this shampoo cleans my hair, but if I put leave in conditioner on my hair I have noticed that I need to use MORE of the shampoo to get my hair clean the next time I wash it. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

It smells great. It leaves no residue and does a fantastic job! I have oily hair and this shampoo keeps it fresh!
