The tool itself is just a sharp metal point with a plastic handle, small enough to grasp easily. The real joy of the product are the metal templates that allow you to scribe complex panel lines and patterns onto plain and curved surfaces. Have already used it on a couple of model aircraft and am impressed with the results.
