Seem good, but fit snugly
After wearing the competition’s jammers which prematurely wear out after just several months of light use, I decided to finally try TYR. The material, liner and drawstring are thankfully significantly more substantial. However, I found them very snug. I am 6’, 185 pounds with a 34” waist and the size 38” barely fit me. I am cautiously optimistic that these will last me at least a year of twice-weekly swim laps.

A Close 2nd to Regular Durafast (for me)
I've been a loyal Tyr Durafast user for a few years, and decided to try the Elite when they went on sale for less than the standard Durafast. The fit was exactly the same for me as the regular Durafast: a perfect 34 for a medium-framed guy who wears 34 pants. The big difference is the full dual-layer construction on the Elite vs a crotch liner on the standard. The Elite seem to have a little bit more compression and take quite a bit longer to dry, as you'd expect. They may last just a bit longer than the standard, but the jury is still out on that. I usually get 7-8 months use at 6-8 hrs per week out of a standard Durafast suit before I start get some seam stitch breakage, and I'm at about 6 months with the Elite and the stitching has faded like usual, but is still in great shape. Overall, I personally prefer the standard Durafast because the crotch liner works better for me fit-wise (holds everything in place better) and I prefer the quicker drying time and lighter feel of a single layer suit. Still a great, durable suit that I'm sure will appeal more to some people.

Good quality, some thoughts on fit
Been buying these kind of swim trunks for 20 years. This is one of the better ones out of the box. Nice thick feel which I hope means it won’t stretch out too soon. You know that feeling when you have to tie it tight to keep from showing butt crack or when it finally just becomes see through in the back? I am a 33 but went with 32 assuming it would be the usual stretchy fabric but, as it’s better quality, it’s some work to get it on, probably should have gone with the 34. Great in the water. Overall pleased.

Good fit
The material has the perfect amount of elasticity and thickness…

Well made.
I had to buy 38 in as 40 in was not available. But fits well enough. Better made than previous, which lasted a couple of years with frequent use.

Quality material, craftsmanship, and fit
I purchased these and a pair of Speedo Endurance+ jammers at the same time so that I could see which one I liked better. Absolutely no question...the TYR Durafast jammers are superior in every way. The material is thicker, sturdier, slightly more stretchy (which makes donning and doffing easier), fits my body better, and I will be really surprised if they don't outlast the Speedo suit by a long shot. The only area I'm not fat, but I'm also not rail-thin. Nearly every set of pants, shorts, and jeans I own are size 32 waist. Rarely, a size 31 fits better. I found the size 32 TYR jammers to fit PERFECT, whereas the Speedo Endurance+ jammers of the same size are just a tad too small (too tight around quads and not enough length from crotch to hip). If, like me, you are debating between these TYR Durafast jammers and the competing Speedo Endurance+ jammers, be assured that the TYR suit is a better quality product and unless you are rail thin with small diameter quads, the TYR suit will probably fit better too.

Sizes are reduced, I'm normally 32 but this is to tight. Material looks good

Logo does not match the one in the photo
The jammer was of good quality, a bit thicker than usual (there are two layers), fits like normal. My only problem is that the logo does not match the one in the photo. In the photo, it shows the logo, the "TYR" sign, and "durafast". However, the one I got only had the "TYR" sign and the letters didn't look exactly like the image. I am just sceptical if this is genuine TYR or a knock-off...Other than that, pretty good

Great material, very sturdy stitching.
Great material, very sturdy stitching. I am hoping to use it for a long time. My waist is 36 and i bought size 34 and it fit me perfectly. Material is thick but also heavy compared to a speedo if those little extra gms bother you.. Bit too pricy but i give 5 stars.

My first swim jammers and I'm impressed
I followed the advice here and ordered one size up. I'm so glad I did as the fit is perfect and quite comfortable. The fabric is good quality, double lined, so your "package" print doesn't show when you come out of the water. It may not be suitable for well endowed men as it can get tight at the front. Quality wise, there is a slight construction issue at the waist seam at the front... but it is not obvious from a far. Just unlucky I guess. I have worn it 4 times now and it still looks new. I would buy another one of these when the one I have is worn out.
