Penny Whistle Party Planner

Now that I am a grandmother, I decided to buy this book for my daughter and my daughter-in-law. There is a party theme for almost any child's interest and each party has about 4 pages of helpful ideas. First, there is a design for the invitation so that you can make the invitation with your child, then they give ideas on games to play that go with the theme of the party, and finally a party menu complete with recipes that are easy, colorful and delicious. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to have old-fashioned parties for children ages 2-14 and create special memories that will last a lifetime!

I have had this book for years and was able to give my daughter the best and most creative birthday parties I could imagine. I just ordered this book for a friend with two small children as she was searching for fun and economic ideas for their celebrations. My daughter had 6 parties; the cheerleader party was one of my favorites, and the bicycle birthday with neighborhood parade is still talked about 15 years later! Buy this book and make great memories!

It's a little old fashioned but a classic and it has lots of ideas for parties and new parents.

My children are 30 and asking for this book for Christmas.They will use it, like we did, as a template for parties as their kids grow up. Oh the Memories!!!!

Not what i expected

Nice book!

Great ideas. It ended up to not be exactly what I was looking for but stimulated creativity.

I grew up on these books. Now that i have my own little ones, I am thrilled that they hold up. they are well organized and thorough and make a daunting task completely fun and executable! I might also add that you can use the structure here for adults too!
