I ordered two of the same And clearly the colors don't match. So be careful. And thr grass was not as full as I hoped for it to be a little bit fuller.

I had a metal fence taken out and a block wall put up in the side yard where the doggie door goes. The area is now bigger than the flagstone, so I have been gradually putting strips of this over the new area, which is all mud. The dogs were tracking in so much mud and dust, that cleaning was impossible. I just buy a strip for the next stage, unroll and put down with the long staples. It is super easy to pick up the dog poop, and I am using a granular deodorizer that I got from Walmart (cheaper than here). The last piece is on order and the project will be finished this week. Because of the various areas, I have been ordering pieces 4 or 5 feet wide and up to 12 feet long. It has been easy to cut with scissors where needed. This meets my needs purfectly.

The actual color isn’t bright lush green like in the photo at all. It’s more drab and a bit yellow-y like dying grass that needs more water in the summer. The quality is fine though.

I needed a fake grass mat to put over my muddy lawn for potty training puppies. I bought the 4x4 size to fit perfectly inside my dog exercise pen. I wish I had gotten the 5x5 so there would be a 6 inch perimeter along the outside. My girls keep digging at the edges and eating grass/weeds that come through the pen and a little extra material would solve this problem. In the heat/sun this mat lets off a hot plastic smell that isn't too bad, but the urine smell combined is unbearable. At least once a week, I spray it down with Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer on both sides, let it sit, then hose it down both sides until the water runs clear without cleaner soapy foam. This has controlled the pee smell so far. After using the mat a month and a half, some of the edges are fraying/unraveling a little (closeup photo), but I just cut them off. Liquid runs through (no puddles) and I can easily use a trowel to pick up poops (easier than on grass!). Works for what I need, but I doubt it will last a year with the abuse it's taking from us.
