Great Solution for a quick and Easy screen fix!
We had a screen room that attached to a sunsetter awning we had on our deck and when we moved out to the county we had no place to use it until we bought a camper and decided to see if the screen room would fit the camper awning. Well when we pulled it out from the garage we found that a family of mice had made it their winter home and decided to enlarge their family at the same time!! These patches were The Golden ticket for us in being able to patch up all the holes the mice had made and still be able to use the screen room! These repair patches have been on this screen room for almost a decade now with only one of them losing their sticking ability. And I ended up cutting a lot of them up to smaller Pieces since most of my holes were smaller than the patches. So it went a lot farther than I had originally anticipated. And for the record, this screen room has been through torrential rains , scorching sun, high humidity and extreme high winds! If that isn’t enough to convince you to give this product a try, then nothing will convince you! You really can’t ask for it do to anything more! We are so pleased with it, I just came online to order more packs of it. For back up to have on hand and to fix some other screens I have at home.

It does work when applied only on the inside of the screen
FOLLOWUP COMMENTS:It works! We have had several gully washer rains beating against the patch on the screen. It is secure. There is no sign of any weakening of the glue. I am now totally happy with the product. It CAN be attached to only the inside of the screen with the glue facing the weather with no ill effect.I am now upgrading my stars to 5.EARLIER COMMENTS:I live in an upper floor apartment. My porch screen is not accessible from the outside so I can't put a patch on both sides of the hole. I can't apply one patch with the glue side facing away from the weather.Today, May 7th, I put a single patch on the inside of the screen, covering a hole. The sticky side faces out, towards the weather. It was extremely easy to apply. Just peel, press and rub. Will the patch hold up when heavy rain beats on the exposed sticky side of the patch? Time will tell.I have marked my calendar to post a followup in 30 days. Then I will update this preliminary review and describe how the single patch worked. My current rating is three stars, a middle of the road rating. When I get more data my rating will change based on the results.

Suited My Purpose
This adhesive patch suited my purpose of mending small tears I had in my screens. From a distance you really can’t tell the difference. This is ideal for small, minor tears. I’m pleased with my purchase - and will buy again.CAUTION: be very careful when peeling off the backing. When I peeled two of them, there were no adhesive behind the patch. I thought they were defective but that wasn’t the case. The adhesive had binded onto the backing instead of the patch. I don’t know how that happened. I wound up putting the screen patch back on the backing (where the stickiness was) and tried peeling it off again. Luckily, the adhesive went back on the the patch.

Still stuck after all these years
I had a bird who somehow managed to get on my screened porch. He couldn't get out so he pecked the screens in several places. Got home and let him out, but the damage was done. I was just looking for something to patch all the holes "temporarily" until I could replace the screens. The patch is very easy to apply, simply sticks without having to use a hair dryer. Fast forward to now (I bought this over 4 years ago) and all the patches are still stuck. Just haven't gotten around to replace the screens.

This stuff works great!!!
I had previously purchased a screen repair kit that had me bending metal into the existing screen...that didn't work...the pieces kept popping off. So, I decided to try these patches. They work GREAT!! The hard part was trying to figure out which color I needed. While I would not use it on a screen in the front of my house except as a temporary fix, on the side and in the back it is fantastic!! Yes, you can see the patch but you could see the holes too, so this is definitely better, if I am not replacing the screen. Obviously replacing the screen would make it look the best...but if I am not willing, this is a perfect second solution. It took me all of 30 seconds to repair the screen and most of that was just trying to get the backing off.For $5, you can't beat it!

survived hurricane Sandy
Bought these a month or so ago because the dog put his nails thru the fibers of the Pella screen, not enough to replace the whole screen. Trimmed up the frayed edges and cut one of the patches in half. Put one on the inside and one on the outside to sandwich the tear. Then we had a rain storm. They held and I was happy. 2 months later they have survived the hurricane, on a second floor window facing due east where we got the majority of the winds. I live at the Jersey Shore, 1 mile inland near Asbury Park. Oh my goodness was it windy.Ok, they are not the prettiest things and it is noticable that there is a patch but to replace the whole screen was going to need time & space, plus it would have cost more. Besides, who's looking that close to a second story window?

EXCELLENT against weather and here is a tip!
I had tears on my screen door one above the other about a foot apart. (Apply from the inside!) I turned the patches so that they were like a diamond shape one above the other and everyone thinks it 8s "an intended design" instead of a patch! Lol! I highly recommend...they have been on for months now and rain nor heat has made them peel off at all. I would buy again.

doesn't look pretty but that section is covered by the rain fly ...
This is exactly what I was looking for. Used this to patch holes in the tent screen, doesn't look pretty but that section is covered by the rain fly and it will keep the bugs out. It is actually screen with adhesive and not a sticker with screen print on it.

A thinner less visible solution would have suited my requirements better.
Seems to stick well but it's much thicker than my existing screen and looks it. A thinner less visible solution would have suited my requirements better.
